Position Summary

We're seeking a skilled and passionate Software Engineer to join our European product engineering team. You will be responsible for building and deploying cloud-native applications using Python, React, PostgreSQL, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role is hands-on and collaborative, working across product, DevOps, data, and UX to build scalable, high-performance tools that power GXO's European logistics network.

Your work will support mission-critical logistics functions including order management, inventory tracking, dock scheduling, WMS integrations, and control tower applications.

• Develop full-stack web applications using Python (FastAPI / Flask) for backend services and React.js for front-end UIs.
• Design, optimize, and maintain PostgreSQL databases including queries, indexing strategies, and migrations.

We're looking for skilled software engineers who are excited to build the market data infrastructure driving the future of decentralized finance. In this role, you'll develop smart contracts, build developer SDKs, improve tooling and monitoring, and help shape the product itself. Your Responsibilities

• Engage in the ideation, creation, and upkeep of both on-chain and off-chain Pyth-related projects, including smart contracts, SDKs, and utility programs.

• Influence our project's trajectory by working alongside business development and sales teams , shaping the future of finance.

• Elevate our team by mentoring junior engineers and setting a high standard in software design and documentation.

• Connect with the developer community , understand their requirements, and craft SDKs, documentation, and tools tailored to them.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• At least 4 years of software engineering experience, with a bonus for experience in large-scale, safety-critical systems.

• Smart contract and blockchain development is beneficial but not mandatory. For those without blockchain experience, we like to see backend engineering experience and an understanding of low-level programming languages (such as Rust or C++).

• A zest for fast-paced, startup-like environments, adapting swiftly to the ever-changing DeFi market.

• Keenness to learn or experience with Rust, Solidity, Python, and Typescript.

• Exceptional technical communication skills for diverse interactions within and outside the team.

• Ability to nurture engineers of varying skill levels.

As a Neo Software Engineer, you’ll join our highly skilled R&D Neo team!

Neo is an online booking tool (OBT) as well as an expense tool for business travel through a SaaS deployment. It allows a user to search and book a business trip in a user-friendly and performant web application. It gives access to different transport modes and travel suppliers within the travel policy set by the company. It also allows users to claim additional expenses for reimbursement, including expenses captured from credit card statements, OCR of receipts, and manually entered claims. The service captures VAT, computes policies, and reimbursement rules, among other features. Many of these data are either personal or sensitive, which necessitates a strong commitment to security principles and compliance with certifications such as PCI-DSS.

Le développeur core au sein de Nomadic Labs aura pour mission de travailler sur l’évolution de la blockchain Tezos, notamment en travaillant sur les amendements ayant lieu environs tous les 3 mois.
