Position Overview:
As a Test Automation Engineer , you will play a crucial role in a diverse and international setting, where English is the working language. **About the Opportunity:**
We're looking for a Test Engineer with experience in mobile and web testing to join a cross-functional product engineering team that builds the Document Capture experience for our mobile and web SDKs, powered by microservices and state-of-the-art machine learning models.
**Responsibilities:**
As a Test Engineer, you will:
+ Plan, coordinate and execute test and quality-related activities within a cross-functional team;
+ Work closely with engineering and product colleagues to clarify acceptance criteria and prioritize quality improvements;
+ Select and apply suitable testing techniques based on a deep understanding of the product from technical and customer perspectives;
+ Design and develop rich and usable test frameworks and test suites for targeted automated coverage, using a combination of open-source tools and custom code;
+ Support acceptance testing and combine automation with exploratory testing as required;
+ Work with colleagues to evolve and continuously improve delivery pipelines and feedback processes, such as release acceptance;
+ Be an enthusiastic advocate for quality and an evangelist for team test culture and practice.
**Requirements:**
+ Proven experience in test design and automation covering mobile and web;
+ Great knowledge of different test practices, techniques and quality engineering processes;
+ Strong coding skills in one of the languages(e.g.JS/TS, Java, Ruby, Python);
+ Experience with test tools and frameworks (e.g.Appium,XCTest, Espresso, Playwright, Cypress, Selenium);
+ Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitLab, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
**Nice to have:**
+ Experience developing solutions for performance and load testing (e.g. k6, Locust, Gatling);
+ Experience with Docker and AWS architecture.

Summary:
We have a unique opportunity to join a talented multi-disciplined team. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who has a passion for engineering and technology. You should have mechanical/hydraulic/electrical (preferred) experience along with onsite industry exposure and experience of leading a small team. Experience with pumps and understand the fundamentals of pumping. You will be competent with the use of IT due to collating data which will be shared with the wider team.
The role will require frequent travel on a weekly basis throughout the UK. As you progress through the training there will be a requirement for international travel working on specialist projects all over the world.
This role would suit someone that currently works in the water industry and knows the basics of pumping systems, they should have a level 3 qualification or apprenticeship in either mechanical or electrical engineering and have the aptitude to learn and develop in a fast paced, ‘hands on’ environment. Therefore, being able to be flexible, and adaptable to the business needs will be important in an ever-changing technical environment.
The role has many elements, but the key focus will be installing our own specialist monitoring and testing equipment for various hydraulic systems including pump, fans, hydraulic networks and aeration networks. Whilst onsite, you will also be undertaking specialist measurement campaigns, deploying our cutting-edge hardware and software technology into the water industry, as well as offering full application support as and when required to our partners and growing customer base.
Our core technology employs precision temperature, pressure and power measurement to determine the hydraulic performance of turbo-machines. Real-time data from each asset is used to inform the client about asset efficiency and recommend operational changes in order to achieve maximum process efficiency.
We develop electronic hardware including precision sensor technology as well as a range of software platforms. Our software tools are deployed on both Cloud or on-premise platforms. Integration with SCADA or other intelligent systems is also a key feature of our solutions – along with remote technical support.
We utilise cutting-edge wireless communication technology and battery powered IIoT solutions. We integrate with a cloud platform using 4G data services and also integrate with client industrial SCADA systems - in partnership with system integrators.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Flexibility with working away from home due to undertaking site work in the UK and overseas
- Installing specialist equipment on site, when not on site maintenance and repair work carried out at our Stoke facility
- Be self-motivated to work from home when not working on site
- Dependent on weekly workload flexibility around working hours is a must
- Lead a small team of 2-3 people
- Network with the wider technical teams to satisfy cross disciplinary projects
- Be respectful, polite, and professional with customers, colleagues, and the community
- Ability to work autonomously, and at times work unsupervised whilst always following all health and safety protocols set by both Riventa and our clients
- Customer interfacing
- Health and safety duties (RAMS etc)
- carry out site surveys to scope new work and help with planning/RAMS/authorisation
- Focusing on achieving high standards of work across multiple bespoke projects, in a dynamic, energised, and professional environment
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- At least 3 years’ experience of hydraulic, mechanical, process or similar engineering discipline preferably in a similar work environment (Or equivalent learning experience)
- Time-served apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical engineering (or equivalent)
- Level 3 BTEC in electrical or mechanical engineering (or equivalent)
- Understanding Engineering disciplines and technologies relating to the Water / Pumping Industry.
- Proven experience in a role in which you contributed to the overall success with tangible output demonstrable
- IT skills in MS365, particularly Excel are preferred, but not essential as full training will be provided
- Hydraulic, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation experience would be ideal but not essential as full training will be given
- Ability to learn new products and disciplines
- Driving Licence (Essential)

CONTEXTE
Nous recherchons un(e) spécialiste QA Back-End pour rejoindre notre équipe technique et soutenir notre objectif principal pour 2025 : garantir la qualité de nos produits SoftPOS .
En tant que membre de la squad GoToProd , vous serez responsable d’assurer la qualité des livraisons de notre produit phare.
Vous travaillerez en étroite collaboration avec les équipes de développement pour intégrer durablement et efficacement les processus d’assurance qualité au sein de nos opérations quotidiennes.
Vous serez accompagné(e) par Julien (Squad Lead) et Alexandre (Back-End Tech Lead) , et collaborerez de près avec les équipes internes et nos partenaires externes .
MISSIONS
- Concevoir, développer et exécuter des tests automatisés afin de garantir une couverture complète des fonctionnalités produits
- Tester les API selon les spécifications pour assurer la conformité aux standards de qualité
- Réaliser des tests de performance à l’aide d’outils tels que K6 et Grafana, et collaborer avec les équipes de développement pour optimiser les performances
- Travailler main dans la main avec les développeurs pour comprendre les exigences et fonctionnalités produit
- Analyser les résultats de tests, identifier les anomalies, travailler avec les équipes de dev pour les résoudre et accompagner les clients dans la résolution de problèmes
- Contribuer à l’amélioration continue des processus de test et des pratiques de développement logiciel

Le poste
Le pôle QA est aujourd'hui composé de 5 personnes qui interviennent en transverse au service des squads. L'objectif est de garantir la qualité des produits et de distiller les bonnes pratiques et la mentalité QA à tous les stades du développement.
Les missions principales :
- Analyser des spécifications fonctionnelles ou des maquettes
- Construire des scenarii de tests (fonctionnels, automatiques)
- Réaliser les plans de tests et valider la mise en production
- Automatiser lorsque cela est possible et pertinent
- Evangéliser les bonnes pratiques en amont des développements
Le profil
- Tu as 4 ans d'expérience à un poste similaire
- Tu disposes d'au moins une expérience préalable en automatisation web
- Tu sais formuler une vraie vision qualité et fédérer une équipe autour de cette vision
- Tu connais déjà Cucumber et un framework basé sur Selenium/Appium
- Tu maîtrises l'accompagnement des entreprises à très forte croissance.
- L'automatisation mobile est un plus !
