The Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Installation Technician to support the deployment and setup of our logistics infrastructure in Paris. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining equipment and systems to ensure smooth operational functionality across our delivery or warehouse sites.

This position is ideal for a hands-on technician with strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and a commitment to quality and precision in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. TV installation (electrical testing using plug-in testers or multimeters, internal wall structure assessment for drilling, use of drills, assessment of hollow walls, concrete walls, marble walls, etc., installation level testing using laser levelers or spirit levels);

2. Refrigerator installation (electrical testing using plug-in testers or multimeters, leveling of double-door refrigerators, adjustment of single-door hinges, installation and adjustment of embedded fasteners, leveling of bases);

3. Washing machine installation (electrical testing using plug-in testers or multimeters, water pressure measurement using water pressure gauges, water supply cutoff and replacement of washing machine faucets, assessment of drainage conditions; leveling of washing machines, stacking and installation of dryers);

4. Stoves, kitchen appliances, and furniture (gas certification, furniture assembly, fixing, etc.)

Responsibilities

Keysight’s Global Services Organisation (KGSO) is seeking an ambitious field service engineer (FSE) to join its team, responsible for providing on-site support services to customers of Keysight's energy ecosystem solutions in the automotive and energy sectors. The targeted applications include testing of cells, modules, and battery packs, as well as infrastructure including charging station (EVSE) tests and electric vehicles. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing on-site support to our automotive market customers across Europe, with a focus on France (but not limited to).

Support services include installation, commissioning, decommissioning, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, calibration, repair, training, parts management, and factory escalation related to our hardware and software solutions. We are looking for a motivated and skilled Field Service Technician to join our French team. In this role, following an initial and continuous training program, the Field Service Technician will provide Lifecycle and After-Sales services for our BTG instruments used in our clients’ pulp, graphic, packaging, and tissue manufacturing processes. This is a hands-on role with 60% mechanical, 25% electrical / electronic, and 15% computing / software responsibilities.

The Field Service Technician will travel frequently (ideally 65%) for 1-4 day assignments to client sites mainly in France but also occasionally in Europe, with the rest of the time devoted to ancillary tasks (reporting, administrative, and other services, etc.) working remotely. This role will be responsible for several clients, commissioning, start-up, modernization, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of their BTG devices. As a key contact for our clients, service sales will be a natural extension of this position. The offer will include a company car, complete IT equipment, the tools necessary for the work to be carried out, an attractive salary and a bonus on sales.

The ideal candidate will be located in the northeast or southwest quarter of France.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Customer Satisfaction : Ensure ultimate internal and external customer satisfaction.
  • Planning & Execution : Proactively plan and execute customer visits for service or sales related activities. Manage your own spare parts inventory, including regular stocktaking.
  • Technical Services : Perform start-up, commissioning, mechanical / electronic maintenance, testing, and repairs for BTG's high-tech online analyzers, sensors, and lab equipment. Provide technical support via phone and email as needed.
  • Reporting : Accurately document services and key information using computer-based reporting systems.
  • Sales Engagement : Contribute to service sales by identifying opportunities during customer visits, and leading sales initiatives, with support of dedicated instrument sales team when required.
