As a consultant in our two-year Operations Excellence Program (OEP), you will work on client engagements in the same way as any other McKinsey consultant. You will play an active role in problem solving for clients including identifying issues, forming hypotheses, designing, and conducting analyses, and synthesizing conclusions into recommendations. You will gain leading edge operations and consultancy skills, primarily through on-the-job coaching, which will be complemented by the OEP’s structured capability-building program.
We view the OEP position as the start of a rewarding, challenging and highly flexible career with McKinsey and the Operations practice. During your first few years with the firm, you will serve as a consultant on multiple client engagements and work with a number of colleagues and clients in a range of industry and operations service lines. The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a highly skilled and versatile Engagement Manager (Energy Supply Chain Consultant) to join our team and lead the solutioning and delivery of complex cloud projects that solve our customers most difficult business problems. In this role you will combine industry expertise, consulting skills and technical understanding with strong project leadership skills to deliver business value for our customers based on successful implementations of AWS-based solutions. You will bridge business requirements with technical solutions, facilitating business discussions across diverse stakeholders and ensuring alignment with customer outcomes. Applying AWS mechanisms such as Working Backwards and developing PR/FAQs to visualise ways to digitise and transform the core processes of our customers, you will work with closely with our architecture and technical teams to ensure we make informed trade-off decisions considering technical performance, scalability, security, speed of delivery and business impact. You will be involved with our customers from ideation and inception, ensuring we understand the business case, through to delivery and enablement of end-to-end solutions and value realisation. In addition, you will mentor and support other consultants to enhance their industry and supply chain understanding and broaden their consulting skills. There will be opportunities to work across all energy domains including upstream, downstream and mid-stream oil, renewables and alternative power generation, electricity networks and mobility.
This specific role is focused on assisting our energy customers to transform and digitise their supply chain operations both in capital project and operations phases, impacting capital expenditures P&L and supporting downstream processes. You will use your knowledge help to define and develop best practice supply chain solutions, designing, optimizing, and transforming supply chain processes to improve business outcomes and achieve targeted benefits.
You will build deep relationships with senior supply chain and IT customers to enable them to leverage the AWS cloud to build solutions rapidly and accelerate business value. You will also act as the focal point and champion for key AWS supply chain services and offerings including AWS Supply Chain, Supply Chain Command Center (SC3) and Warehouse Automation and Optimization (WAO).
Possessing a strong business acumen and program/project management experience, you will be expected to deepen your technical skills to allow you to identify technical risks that might impact value delivery. You will achieve and maintain relevant AWS certifications and effectively communicate technical concepts to business audiences. As you progress, you'll lead increasingly complex transformation projects, shape cross-organizational delivery strategies, and establish best practices approaches in your domain. In this role you will apply your management and leadership capabilities to successfully develop and execute project plans, proactively identify and manage risks, resolve issues, escalate when appropriate, and drive projects to successful completion, while exceeding customer expectations.

Key job responsibilities
As an Industry Consultant (Energy Supply Chain) in our Energy & Utilities practice, you will be responsible for:
- Leading supply chain conversations across all energy domains to identify opportunities to transform end to end business processes of our customers
- Support the business to think about their problems in an Amazonian and innovative way driving business outcomes
- Designing and delivering business transformation programs and projects using digital technology
- Using your consulting skills to think big and bridge business requirements with technical solutions, facilitating engineering discussions and ensuring alignment with customer business outcomes
- Supporting the distillation of customer needs into clear business outcomes and helping to convert this into technical requirements
- Building deep strategic relationships with senior business and technical customers and acting as a trusted advisor within the supply chain function
- Building your knowledge of AWS services, architectures, and best practices to guide technical decisions and strategic planning
- Leading complex teams of customer, AWS and partner
- Mentoring and developing project team members within the supply chain function, across the energy domain and to better delivery complex transformation initiatives.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors/Master's degree in Business or an Engineering field (preferably related to Energy Management) or Computer Science
- 10 years + of total professional experience, with a minimum of 4 years spent in supply chain disciplines delivering business change and transformation
- Proven consulting experience in taking projects from ideation, development of the business case, project/programme design, delivery and value realisation
- Demonstrated ability in Energy domains and experience of technical implementation of solutions
- Ability to manage the delivery of projects on time, budget and cost

**Rôles et Responsabilités :**
+ Harmoniser les outils, la stratégie et les processus clés au sein du réseau mondial, tels que les appels d'offres, le suivi des commandes, le calcul du coût de réalisation pour la revue des marges des projets, les plans logistiques des projets, etc.
+ Gérer et prendre personnellement en charge les principaux problèmes remontés dans les différentes régions sur des projets spécifiques afin de garantir une visibilité, un soutien et des ressources adéquats pour la réussite.
+ Fournir des formations et des ressources pour développer les compétences et les capacités des responsables de la gestion des stocks et des commandes (PSCM), garantir une affectation rapide et efficace des projets PSCM grâce au processus S&OP.
+ Assurer la mise à jour et la revue en temps opportun des risques et opportunités du portefeuille de projets, évaluer et décider des mesures qui améliorent la performance globale des projets.
+ Développer et développer le pipeline PSCM afin de former des leaders performants capables d'occuper des postes clés au sein de la chaîne de valeur, des équipes projet ou d'autres services de l'entreprise.

Global PSCM Leader will be the functional leader of the global team of Project Supply Chain Managers (PSCMs) who are the Hydro Supply Chain representative on Hydro projects for all key processes: Manufacturing, Sourcing, Materials Planning and Transport and Logistics.
**Roles and Responsibilities:**
+ Harmonize tools, strategy and process across the global network for key processes such as: PO RFQ, PO tracking, Cost to Complete roll up for Project Margin Review, Project Logistics Plans, etc.

+ Provide training and resources to develop PSCM skills and capabilities, ensure PSCM project allocations are timely and efficient through use of S&OP process
+ Ensure timely update and review of Project portfolio risk and opportunity, evaluate and decide on action that benefits overall performance of the projects.
+ Develop and build the PSCM pipeline to grow strong leaders who can fill key roles in Value Chain, Project teams or other parts of the business

**Required Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Supply Chain correlated discipline from an accredited university
+ Major professional experience (10+ years) with strong Supply Chain / Industrial management experience including technical, administrative, and financial accountability
