In this exciting role, you will work closely with the Business Manager to drive the strategic growth of Surfactants & Water Treatment Specialties across France & Benelux. In this role, with full training, each day will be different. You will be responsible for your own suppliers as well as supporting the Business Manager on key strategic products within the Portfolio. You will need to ensure that products are available for sale, pricing is correct, and that all relevant information is up to date to ensure that we drive profitable sales.
Key Responsibilities and tasks
- You will be able to act on your own initiative and demonstrate a pro-active approach to maintaining effective supplier relationships and product information.
- You will be responsible for the preparation of annual targets and budgets, information that is used to measure and review our performance.
- You will negotiate with our suppliers to secure the right prices and terms for purchase of products and control selling prices to maximise our delivered gross margins.
- You will be working closely with the Business Manager, EPM and sales teams to ensure we maximise all our opportunities.
- You will set up, monitor and update selling schedules for products.
- You will need to liaise with our stock controllers to decide forecasts and stock levels. It will be your responsibility to deal with aged stock and implement the changes needed to drive continuous improvement.

- Fluent in French & a working understanding of the English language

Responsabilités et tâches clés
- Agir de manière proactive pour maintenir des relations efficaces avec les fournisseurs et gérer les informations sur les produits.
- Préparer les objectifs annuels et les budgets, utilisés pour mesurer et suivre la performance.
- Négocier avec les fournisseurs pour obtenir les meilleurs prix et conditions d'achat, tout en contrôlant les prix de vente pour maximiser la marge brute.
- Collaborer étroitement avec le Responsable Commercial, EPM et les équipes de vente pour maximiser toutes les opportunités.
- Mettre en place, suivre et mettre à jour les plannings de vente des produits.
- Collaborer avec les gestionnaires de stock pour prévoir et gérer les niveaux de stock, traiter les stocks obsolètes et mettre en œuvre des améliorations continues.

You are a graduated Engineer (or equivalent) with a Chemical Engineering background, you already have a professional experience of 8 years minimum in Engineering, in the field of Process Water Treatment. An experience in Oil and Gas sector is welcome. You have then developed an in-depth knowledge of the main water treatment technologies: filtration, membranes technologies, ion exchange, chemical conditioning, physico-chemical and biological treatments, advanced oxidation, evaporation, etc.
You are autonomous, pragmatic, rigorous, both inventive and reactive. The job implies a deep sense of team spirit, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to work in a multicultural Client environment.
A first experience in leading teams of junior process engineers will be appreciated.

Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced and strategic professional with a strong background in water treatment and commercial roles to lead our Asset Care development initiatives as the Senior Asset Care Development Manager. This role is responsible for driving the growth, innovation, and optimization of our Asset Care services across multiple regions in Europe, with a focus on water treatment solutions. The successful candidate will be a key player in developing and implementing strategies to enhance our Asset Care offerings, improve operational efficiency, and ensure customer satisfaction while maintaining a strong focus on sustainability and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities: Strategic Development:Develop and execute Action Plans, including expansion and better utilization of our Products & Services installed based (Sites equipped with our devices, BOO & LTO contracts). This includes the management of our installed bases (to be created for ROED tech), the inventory and structuration of the services we can provide to our customers integrating the green up approach, the replication of successful approaches.
Training and Skill Development:Coordinate SFDC training programs. Improve Technicians sales skills through targeted training sessions. Enhance Technicians technical skills in various products and services.
Business Development:Promote products for process applications, focusing on LT contracts. Develop customer approach checklists and inventory of customer devices and needs. Build and execute customer contact plans for various product lines and regions.

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or related field; MBA preferred. Minimum 10 years of experience in water treatment industry, with a strong focus on Asset Care and commercial roles. Proven track record in developing and implementing strategic initiatives. Extensive knowledge of water treatment technologies, particularly in RO, ED, and ZW systems. Strong commercial acumen and experience in sales and business development. Excellent project management and organizational skills. Proficiency in SFDC and other relevant software tools. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Fluency in English and French; knowledge of other European languages is a plus. Willingness to travel within Europe as required.

Our Service Centre for Europe is based in Peterborough, UK with projects located and executed all across Europe.
Main Tasks:
The main responsibility of a Commercial Engineer is to lead project opportunities from inquiry to order, with ethical integrity and creative thinking, to develop safe & effective water treatment solutions for our Customers.
The role includes assisting the Sales team with initial lead qualification, development of opportunities through technical and commercial guidance, process design development (often in consultation with experts in global teams), cost model evaluation, and pricing with commercial awareness of the market.
Commercial Engineering scope includes creation of Customer-facing proposals and supporting documents (sometimes including public tender deliverables), identification of technical improvements, performance of system audits etc. Our proposals are developed in close collaboration with the country based operational teams.

Requirements :
Master’s or Bachelor's degree in mechanical, chemical or environmental engineering
Minimum 3 years of experience in water and/or wastewater operation (services), engineering, or bid management
Previous experience in an industrial field is a preference
Fluent inEnglish AND French (written and verbal) -Mandatory
Additional language skills will give a significant advantage (especially , Italian, German, Dutch)
Ability to travel occasionally, within the EU and UK, driving license desirable
Other Qualifications:
Previous relevant experience would include Application Engineering, Bid Management, Sales or Business Development, with elements of :

Knowledge of contract law and Terms and Conditions language
Familiarity with water outsourcing contracts
Basic understanding of Finance and accounting principles

Our Service Centre for Europe is based in Peterborough, UK with projects located and executed all across Europe.
Main Tasks:
The main responsibility of a Commercial Engineer is to lead project opportunities from inquiry to order, with ethical integrity and creative thinking, to develop safe & effective water treatment solutions for our Customers.
The role includes assisting the Sales team with initial lead qualification, development of opportunities through technical and commercial guidance, process design development (often in consultation with experts in global teams), cost model evaluation, and pricing with commercial awareness of the market.
Commercial Engineering scope includes creation of Customer-facing proposals and supporting documents (sometimes including public tender deliverables), identification of technical improvements, performance of system audits etc. Our proposals are developed in close collaboration with the country based operational teams.
- A typical sequence of Commercial Engineer’s tasks might include :
- Thorough analysis of customer request & requirement
- When required audit of existing assets: collection of existing information and improvement identification
- Development of all relevant technical documents: Process Description, Process Flow Diagram, Process & Instrumentation Diagram etc.
- When required, consultation of sub-contractors and evaluation of their offers
- Sales assistance during customer meetings (including travel to sites in Europe)
- Establishment of scope of supply and all associated costs (install, commissioning, service, consumables, chemicals, labor, 3rd party supply, freight etc.)
- Identification and mitigation of project associated risks with a strong focus on health and safety, and environmental protection
- Proposal development with a strong focus on value proposition
- Creating attractive documents & presentations in line with brand guidelines
- Presentation of complete package to Veolia Leadership for review & approval
Additionally, team members establish a strong internal network of collaborators, demonstrate negotiation skills in Customer meetings, understand contracts and commercial language of terms and conditions, and respect internal compliance and delegation of authority procedures.
Requirements :
Master’s or Bachelor's degree in mechanical, chemical or environmental engineering
Minimum 3 years of experience in water and/or wastewater operation (services), engineering, or bid management
Previous experience in an industrial field is a preference
Fluent in English AND French (written and verbal) - Mandatory
Additional language skills will give a significant advantage (especially , Italian, German, Dutch)
Ability to travel occasionally, within the EU and UK, driving license desirable
Other Qualifications:
Previous relevant experience would include Application Engineering, Bid Management, Sales or Business Development, with elements of :
On-site services experience
Knowledge of contract law and Terms and Conditions language
Familiarity with water outsourcing contracts
Basic understanding of Finance and accounting principles
Previous technical experience with water / wastewater treatment services is beneficial
Personal skills:
Team player – this is a role strongly connected with others and built on daily communication – be able to work in a matrix organization, with persons located in different countries
Good understanding of Customer mindsets and ability to shape the design & proposal to address their needs and priorities
Friendly communication and interpersonal skills are essential
Ability to work on own initiative and independently is required
Commitment to quality and high standard of published work is very well received
Ability to prioritize tasks and keep to agreed deadlines is essential
Type of contract : Permanent Contract
Proposed remuneration: Depending on profile, paid in 13.5 monthly installments
Annual bonus based on targets, profit-sharing

This is a permanent position within our Assets team in Water Technologies services. Our team develops designs and proposals for water treatment projects across Europe, utilizing mobile and containerized water treatment plants for diverse applications including emergency deployments and complex projects involving technologies like Filtration, Ultrafiltration, Reverse Osmosis, and Ion Exchange.

- Support sales during customer meetings and travel within Europe.
- Establish scope of supply, costs, and identify project risks, focusing on health, safety, and environmental protection.
- Develop proposals emphasizing value proposition and prepare presentations for Veolia Leadership.
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in mechanical, chemical, or environmental engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience in water/wastewater operations, engineering, or bid management.
- Experience in an industrial setting preferred.
- Fluent in English and French; additional languages like Italian, German, Dutch are advantageous.
- Ability to travel occasionally within the EU and UK; driving license desirable.
- Experience in Application Engineering, Bid Management, Sales, or Business Development.
