The Opportunity

Within an important international SAP competence center, a true internal expertise center, we are seeking an experienced Senior SAP SD Consultant to join our team. As a Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expertise and guidance in the area of SAP Sales and distribution (SD) module. You will work closely with our internal clients to analyze their business requirements, design and implement solutions, and provide ongoing support and maintenance.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Conduct requirements gathering sessions with clients to understand their business processes and identify opportunities for improvement within the SAP SD module.
• Design and configure SD module functionalities, including Master Data, Sales order Processing, Delivery and shipping, billing and invoicing, sales support, pricing and conditions, availability check.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SD with other SAP modules, such as Finance (FI), Material management (MM), and Logistics (LE).
• Lead or participate in system testing activities, including preparing test scenarios, executing tests, and resolving defects.
• Provide end-user training and support to ensure successful adoption and utilization of the SAP SD system.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and functional issues by analyzing system logs, debugging programs, and applying SAP notes.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP SD trends and technologies and provide recommendations for system enhancements or process improvements.
• Lead or contribute to the implementation of SAP SD best practices, standards, and methodologies.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior consultants on the team.
  
  

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience as an SAP SD Consultant, with a deep understanding of Master Data, Sales order Processing, Delivery and shipping, billing and invoicing, sales support, pricing and conditions, availability check and strong knowledge of integration points between SD and other SAP modules, such as FI, MM, and LE.
• Extensive hands-on experience in configuring and customizing SAP SD module functionalities.
• Experience with SAP implementation lifecycles especially the S/4 hana, including requirements gathering, design, testing, and post-go-live support.
• Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into SAP SD system solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, cross-functional and technical teams.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• SAP S/4 Certification in Sales ans distribution (SD) is preferred.

Vos missions

Au sein de notre entité basée à Aix-en-Provence, en tant que Consultant(e) SAP SD / MM, vous intervenez sur des projets agiles de transformation digitale pour nos clients, en vous appuyant sur votre expertise des modules SAP SD et/ou MM.

Vos missions seront de :

• Analyser les besoins fonctionnels des clients dans les domaines de la vente (SD) et de la gestion des stocks et approvisionnements (MM).
• Participer à la configuration et au paramétrage des modules SAP SD / MM selon les besoins spécifiques des clients.
• Assurer l'intégration des modules SAP SD / MM avec les autres modules SAP.
• Contribuer à la rédaction des spécifications fonctionnelles et techniques.
• Participer aux phases de tests (unitaires, d'intégration, UAT) et à la validation des solutions.
• Former les utilisateurs finaux sur l'utilisation des modules SD / MM et assurer un support post-implémentation.
• Suivre les évolutions fonctionnelles de SAP et proposer des optimisations ou améliorations continues.
• Collaborer avec les équipes techniques et fonctionnelles internes ainsi qu'avec les équipes projets côté client.
• Assurer une veille technologique sur les nouveautés SAP dans les domaines SD et MM.

Votre profil :

• Vous disposez d'une première expérience d'au moins 3 ans dans des projets d'implémentation SAP ECC ou S/4.
• Vous parlez couramment anglais.
• Vous avez des qualités analytiques et un esprit synthétique.
• Vous avez une aisance relationnelle et communicationnelle.
• Vous avez de bonnes connaissances de l'écosystème SAP et des dernières innovations S/4HANA.
• Vous avez une bonne culture du numérique et des nouvelles technologies.
• Vous justifiez d'une expertise fonctionnelle et de paramétrage sur les modules de vente et de gestion des stocks et approvisionnements.

As an SAP OC Consultant, you will implement S / HANA functionalities that meet client needs for managing the sale of services and / or stocked products.

Your scope will include tasks such as :

• Preparing and conducting client design workshops using a "Show & Tell” approach
• Actively participating in detailed design workshops
• Understanding current ("AS-IS”) processes, identifying gaps, and proposing relevant solutions

Skills – What you bring :

• Proven experience as an SAP Consultant in a service company
• At least one hands-on SAP S / HANA implementation project experience in Sales and Logistics business processes, where you took part in detailed design, end-to-end testing, and client key user training
• Industry knowledge in one or more of the following sectors : Retail, Automotive, Aerospace & Defense, High Tech, Energy / Utilities, Pharmaceuticals
• Functional and technical knowledge, including S / HANA OC configuration skills across processes such as : Sales master data management Customer contract management Customer pricing Sales order management Product delivery logistics : delivery calls, delivery notifications, goods preparation and shipping Customer stock management Customer billing including credit / debit notes
• Ability to define and write functional specifications, including interface specs (, IDOC and API) between SAP Sales and non-SAP applications
• Good understanding of integration points between SAP Sales and other SAP modules like Finance or Inventory Management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.) and standard productivity tools

Our client, A local French integrator is currently expanding its operations due to a backlog of new projects, and are looking for highly skilled SAP SD MM and FI consultants to be upskilled in the SAP DRC solution.

Particularly within the e-invoicing area where they have been deploying this module for several years with international groups across global rollouts. SAP has assigned our customer as the "Unicorn Partner" label based on their niche expertise, making them a preferred partner and a trusted recipient of direct opportunities from SAP.

They have a clear training program which can be shared in more detail if you are interested where after 2 / 3 months, they would like consultants to be well skilled and ready to deliver for customers in the SAP DRC solution. After the wave of DRC projects have been managed, the ideal candidate then has a choice as whether to remain in the DRC delivery scope or return to their core competence and deliver this for the integrator's customers.
