Au département Professional Services France vous êtes le garant de la réussite des projets de déploiement: mise en œuvre technique, adhésion des équipes de développement et satisfaction client.

Vos principales responsabilités sont les suivantes :

  • Comprendre le contexte et les besoins du clientafin de proposer l’accompagnement optimal
  • Accompagner la mise en place du plan de gestion du changement (communication, formation, accompagnement.)
  • Mettre en œuvre la configuration technique de la plate-forme et l’intégrer dans l’environnement client
  • Présenter les résultats des analyses qualité et proposer des plans d'amélioration
  • Construire et maintenir dans le temps une relation solide avec les clients
  • Soutenir les opérations de vente et anticiper de nouveaux besoins
  • Contribuer à l'amélioration des produits en remontant des informations terrain à la R&D

Ce poste vous permettra de valoriser votre expérience en devenant force de proposition auprès de nos clients sur des problématiques techniques mais aussi organisationnelles. Il vous permettra de contribuer à une grande variété de missions et d’intervenir sur des projets de déploiement à dimension internationale.

Compétences et expérience souhaitées:

  • 3 à 5 ans dans le développement et la conception logicielle sur une des technologies suivantes : stack JAVA et idéalement Python
  • Une solide connaissance pratique des SGBD relationnelles, Oracle ou MSSQL, et leur langage SQL
  • Une bonne compréhension des problématiques de développement et de maintenance d’applications
  • Capacité à gérer en parallèle différents contextes clients / projets
  • Excellente connaissance, écrite et orale, de la langue anglaise pour pouvoir travailler avec l’ensemble de nos filiales (Europe, Us, Inde)

Job Description

The Professional Services Consultant is a key member of the services organization and acts as a customer-facing representative of Nexthink. The role involves ensuring that the company's products are implemented within customer organizations to meet or exceed expectations regarding the solution's technical and business benefits.

This role requires a dedicated and enthusiastic individual with strong technical and communication skills, capable of establishing and maintaining trusted advisor relationships. Travel to and work from customer sites is essential as needed.

  1. Maintain technical expertise and current best practices to implement and operate all of Nexthink’s products at an advanced level during projects.
  2. Install and configure Nexthink solutions according to the design and prepare all relevant technical deliverables.
  3. Implement all technical aspects of service delivery to standard quality levels.
  4. Educate and empower customers to fully adopt and utilize the solution.
  5. Understand customer requirements to advise and implement suitable Nexthink solutions following industry best practices.
  6. Commit to customer satisfaction and building referenceable relationships.
  7. Collaborate with internal teams (sales, pre-sales, support, product management) and partners.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience in a software consulting role.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and knowledge of IT operations and ITIL.
  • Experience with Digital Transformation projects, preferably related to End-User computing.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows clients and applications; MacOS experience is a plus.
  • Desired experience with Cloud deployments (architecture, security including SSO, APIs).
  • Awareness of current industry standards and regulations (ISO27k, PCI-DSS, GDPR, NIST).
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies independently.
  • Excellent communication, customer-facing, and teamwork skills.
  • Enthusiasm for working in an international, collaborative, and fast-paced environment and learning new technologies.
  • Fluent in English and French.

The role: Professional Services Manager

Merchants often need more guidance than our product alone can provide. They struggle with optimizing delivery options, managing customer support or demand planning and streamlining other operational processes. While our product addresses part of this need, merchants require structured, expert advice to grow and optimize their business.

That’s why we’re launching a new Professional Services program — to help brands unlock the full potential of Bigblue Operations.

As Head of Professional Services , you will build and lead this new function from the ground up: designing offers, structuring delivery, and ensuring execution at scale. Your mission is to sell (and sometimes offer) operational consulting , providing tailored support across logistics, transport, and commerce operations — while capturing and distributing the knowledge that will shape internal training, product development, and merchant strategy .

This is a cross-functional leadership role, reporting directly to the co-CEOs , with strong exposure to sales, merchants, product and ops teams, and the executive leadership.

What you’ll do

Design and launch Bigblue’s Professional Services program : define the service offering, pricing models, and delivery frameworks for operational consulting.

Deliver structured, high-impact advice to merchants : help brands streamline their operations, unlock growth, and make the most of Bigblue’s operational capabilities.

Create and track performance metrics : define success KPIs — including merchant satisfaction, project ROI, and delivery timelines — and build the tools and processes to monitor and improve them.

Generate and structure company knowledge : turn field experience into scalable insights that fuel internal training, merchant enablement, and product roadmap decisions.

Work hand-in-hand with Sales, Product, Ops, and Customer teams : scope merchant needs, influence product direction, and ensure Professional Services are tightly integrated into the overall customer journey.

Handle both repeatable and bespoke projects : from standardized onboarding packages to tailored merchant migrations, flex between industrialized delivery and custom-built solutions.

Make Professional Services a profitable growth engine : design revenue models, forecast team utilization, and ensure strong project economics while delivering value to merchants.

Who You Are

  • You have 5+ years of experience in consulting, professional services, or implementation at a high-growth scale-up, logistics player, eCom or SaaS company

    Support incoming customer projects that require software customization.

    • Act as the technical expert in sales meetings for Professional Services engagements.

    The role of a Cloud Professional Services Manager at Canonical

    The Field Engineering team is our team of cloud solutions architects at Canonical, working directly with our customers, designing private and public cloud solutions fitting their workload needs. The portfolio of products includes on-premise cloud solutions such as Openstack, MicroCloud and Ceph, and solutions that could be deployed either on-premises or in public clouds such as Kubernetes, Kubeflow, Spark, PostgreSQL, etc. The team works hands-on with the technologies by deploying, testing and handing over the solution to our support or managed services team at the end of a project. Managers and team members also take part in presales conversations to provide technical advice during the sales process.

    A Cloud Professional Services Manager is responsible for line management and career guidance. The ability to develop engineering talent, to represent your team from a technical perspective, and to drive collaboration with other teams and customers are all critical to success in this role. You are also expected to actively participate in technical presales to help our department achieve our quarterly goals.

    Location: This role will be home based, managing a team in your time zone.

    What we are looking for in you

    • Knowledge of cloud computing concepts & technologies, such as Kubernetes, Openstack, AWS, GCP, Azure, Ceph, etc.
    • Practical knowledge of Linux and networking
    • Experience in technical presales
    • You are a dynamic person who loves to jump in new projects and interact with people
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
    • Passion and a track record of developing and growing people
    • Experience in leading, coaching and mentoring engineers
    • Organised and able to ensure your team delivers timely, high quality results
    • An exceptional academic track record from high school and, preferably, university as well
    • Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time. Field Engineers attend internal company events, external tech events and customer meetings.

    • Second language - Spanish or French preferred
    • Python knowledge
    • Experience collaborating with external partners

    Professional Services Engineer Job Summary

    As a Professional Services Engineer at Aerospike, you’ll partner directly with our enterprise customers to guide them from onboarding through successful adoption. You’ll deliver hands-on technical leadership, architecture guidance, and implementation best practices to ensure our customers derive maximum value from Aerospike’s high-performance distributed database platform.

    This is a customer-facing role requiring strong technical acumen and a consultative mindset. You’ll work closely with engineering and customer success teams, travel to customer sites as needed, and be instrumental in shaping the success of mission-critical deployments.

    Responsibilities
    • Act as a trusted technical advisor to enterprise customers during post-sales engagement.
    • Lead customer onboarding efforts including training, deployment planning, and production readiness.
    • Deliver architecture guidance, capacity planning, and data modeling tailored to customer needs.
    • Create and maintain technical artifacts including runbooks, deployment documentation, and operational playbooks.
    • Provide consultative support during the adoption and growth phases, identifying opportunities to expand Aerospike usage.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to refine service delivery processes and support strategic account planning.
    Requirements
    • 5+ years of experience building and deploying enterprise software systems (e.g., Sr. Engineer, Lead Engineer, or Architect).
    • 5+ years of experience in a technical consulting or professional services capacity.
    • Proficiency with enterprise Java or comparable development languages.
    • Strong background in NoSQL or distributed database technologies.
    • Solid understanding of distributed systems concepts, high availability, and data consistency models.
    • Proficiency with Linux-based systems and command-line tooling.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-first mindset.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize in a dynamic environment.
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience with operational tooling and automation (e.g., Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana).
    • Understanding of DevOps principles and infrastructure-as-code practices.
    • Experience designing or operating cloud-based, highly available distributed systems.
    • Experience developing and delivering technical training to enterprise audiences.

    This is an opportunity to run a Professional Services team (also known as Field Engineering) team, helping customers understand and implement Canonical's open source solutions in public clouds and in their own data centers. We work across the entire spectrum of cloud offerings, from Ubuntu itself to virtualisation and private cloud, Kubernetes, and the implementation of sophisticated open source solutions such as MLops platforms, data platforms and more.
