Missions principales :
- Assurer l'accueil téléphonique et physique des patients
br> - Planifier les consultations, les rendez-vous, les demandes d'admission
- Participer à certaines réunions, élabore et diffuse les comptes-rendus
< r> - Gérer l'approvisionnement des stocks de fournitures
- Gérer la tenue du dossier du patient (informatique et papier)
- Mettre à jour la documentation du service, et selon le lieu, l'affichage obligatoire
- Gérer le classement et l'archivage

Within the Group, you will join the Group Underwriting Office (GUO) in the Life, Savings and Health Underwriting department.
Within this Department, you will be part of the Medical Underwriting team reporting to the Chief Medical Officer.
YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSABILITIES :
The Senior Medical Underwriter is accountable for supporting day to day activities and leading (where needed) activities within the Group’s medical underwriting strategy for both protection and health. Providing advice, sharing technical expertise, training and guidance to AXA entities on medical and non-medical aspects consistent with AXA Group’s underwriting standards and philosophy.
In line with the objective to enhance AXA’s underwriting technical excellence and increase independence and inclusivity, together with the Group Medical Underwriting team the role requires the development and implementation of the Group Underwriting Guidelines on key strategic matters and medical conditions.
The role requires working closely with the other members of the Group Medical Underwriting Team to identify training opportunities and make recommendations to enhance technical excellence through various learning programmes and platforms.
Main focus areas :
bull; Support and advise AXA entities, dealing with underwriting enquiries
bull; Collaborate with the AXA entities to customise underwriting automated rules that conform to AXA’s underwriting standards and philosophy for both protection and health
bull; Together with the Group Medical Underwriting Team take the lead in the development and implementation of AXA underwriting guidelines for protection and health that are consistent with AXA’s risk appetite / profile, standards and philosophy, ensuring they are based on sound underwriting principles and factoring in product pricing and market centric considerations
bull; Support and lead implementation of automated underwriting solutions (rule-engines, AI supported solutions) in close collaboration with entities, Group operations and external providers
bull; Conduct comprehensive review of AXA entities’ underwriting practices and provide accurate observations, concise and actionable recommendations
bull; Conduct reviews of automated UW rules and develop improvements based on BI – dashboards and market feedabck
bull; Provide a quality and prompt underwriting service to internal and external clients with the ability to communicate outcomes
bull; Identify underwriting trends, training and developmental opportunities and lead workshops / training
bull; Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with senior staff in AXA entities
bull; Work on special projects as needed, taking the lead as the occasion arises
bull; Organise and perform technical training at Group level and local entities on relevant underwriting topics
bull; Maintain a current view of emerging and changing trends both medically and financially that impact risk selection within protection and health
YOUR PROFILE
bull; Minimum 6 to 8 years medical underwriting experience with expert knowledge on protection and health products
bull; 5+ years in an underwriting development role
bull; Experience in the development in UW rules for automated underwriting rules-engines. Experience in the implementation of UW systems.
bull; Experience in the development of management information tools, i.e. real time dashboards
bull; Expert knowledge and deep understanding of protection and health insurance risk evaluation and selection process
bull; Advanced knowledge of insurance industry principles and practices including protection and health insurance operations, reinsurance practices, product, sales concepts, compliance and legal issues, claims and distribution, specifically those affecting underwriting guidelines and practices
bull; Very good communication and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate findings, performance standards, and provide detailed feedback
bull; Ability to work collaboratively and productively with underwriters, managers and other business units
bull; Ability to analyse data and identify trends to provide a comprehensive analysis of patterns and training needs
bull; Professional qualifications e.g. medical qualification or formal professional accreditation preferred
bull; Team oriented and able to cooperate, provide constructive feedback to ideas and initiatives

Position Purpose: Assist the Chief Medical Director to direct and coordinate the medical management, quality improvement and credentialing functions for the business unit. This position is REMOTE!
- Provides medical leadership of all for utilization management, cost containment, and medical quality improvement activities.
- Performs medical review activities pertaining to utilization review, quality assurance, and medical review of complex, controversial, or experimental medical services, ensuring timely and quality decision making.
- Supports effective implementation of performance improvement initiatives for capitated providers.
- Assists Chief Medical Director in planning and establishing goals and policies to improve quality and cost-effectiveness of care and service for members
- Provides medical expertise in the operation of approved quality improvement and utilization management programs in accordance with regulatory, state, corporate, and accreditation requirements.
- Assists the Chief Medical Director in the functioning of the physician committees including committee structure, processes, and membership.
- Conduct regular rounds to assess and coordinate care for high-risk patients, collaborating with care management teams to optimize outcomes.
- Collaborates effectively with clinical teams, network providers, appeals team, medical and pharmacy consultants for reviewing complex cases and medical necessity appeals.
- Participates in provider network development and new market expansion as appropriates
- Assists in the development and implementation of physician education with respect to clinical issues and policies.
- Identifies utilization review studies and evaluates adverse trends in utilization of medical services, unusual provider practice patterns, and adequacy of benefit/payment components.
- Identifies clinical quality improvement studies to assist in reducing unwarranted variation in clinical practice in order to improve the quality and cost of care.
- Interfaces with physicians and other providers in order to facilitate implementation of recommendations to providers that would improve utilization and health care quality.
- Reviews claims involving complex, controversial, or unusual or new services in order to determine medical necessity and appropriate payment.
- Develops alliances with the provider community through the development and implementation of the medical management programs.
- As needed, may represent the business unit before various publics both locally and nationally on medical philosophy, policies, and related issues
- Represents the business unit at appropriate state committees and other ad hoc committees.
- May be required to work weekends and holidays in support of business operations, as needed.
- Consult's on MCO clinical policy related to Substance Use Disorders and the cases of individual members for the MCM program on a routine basis.
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Complies with all policies and standards
License/Certifications: Board certification in a medical specialty recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialists or the American Osteopathic Association’s Department of Certifying Board Services. Current Illinois state license as a MD or DO without restrictions, limitations, or sanctions from government programs.
For Illinois plan only: Must reside in Illinois. Must have a minimum of eight (8) years of experience in mental health, substance abuse, or children health services.
Pay Range: $221,300.00 - $20,500.00 per year

An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for an experienced Regional Medical Director to provide clinical and medical leadership to the South East region. You will also be a Senior Consultant Psychiatrist who will have clinical responsibilities for service users at a mental health clinic in the Southern Hertfordshire area.
As Director, you will be joining one of the UK’s leading healthcare providers, where you will play a key role in leading and developing the regional medical directorate. You will provide strategic guidance and expert advice on psychiatric and medical matters across these services.
To be considered for this position you must be medically qualified with MB ChB or equivalent MRC Psych or equivalent and registered with the GMC
Responsibilities- Responsibility for the administration of the Mental Health Act, Clinical Policy, Clinical Standards and associated administrative tasks in respect of patients
- Exercise professional leadership and institute, manage and evaluate via the most appropriate means that can include audit or QI, a medical service, ensuring that clinical policy, practice and its application is research based and of a good standard
- Work with the General Practitioner to ensure the provision of primary care medical services appropriate to patients in services
- As a member of the Regional Senior Management team, provide leadership, support and guidance where necessary to all staff, always ensuring best practice
- Regularly meet virtually or face to face with the consultants, in the region, to share best practice, concerns and discuss strategic objectives and future medical needs and issues
- Chair monthly regional medical meetings
- To feed into corporate clinical governance through regional leads
- Excellent spoken and written communication
- Effective analytical, interpersonal and negotiating
- Innovative and imaginative with the ability to initiate corporate decisions
