We are looking for a **IT Operations manager** to join our team in **Strasbourg.**
**Your role:**
As an IT Operations Manager, you will take full ownership of daily service operations for a multi-platform IT landscape, and lead a diverse technical team across shifts and specializations. You'll be responsible for ensuring service excellence, continuous improvement, and compliance with SLAs and regulatory standards, particularly ITIL v4 and NIST Cyber Security Framework. You'll coordinate activities across change, incident, problem and request processes, while introducing automation, observability, and predictive capabilities to enable Digital Operations maturity. This role is hands-on and strategic, balancing operational responsiveness, stakeholder engagement, and continuous service improvement.
Some of your key responsibilities will be:
+ Lead 24x7 operational services across: Servers (Linux, Windows), Middleware (WebLogic, Tomcat), Databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, DB2), Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), Storage & Backups, Cloud/Hybrid platforms.
+ Ensure alignment with ITIL v4 and NIST CSF frameworks across all operational processes.
+ Drive system lifecycle management: patching, upgrades, and vulnerability remediation.
+ Oversee Incident, Problem, Change and Request Management through tools like ServiceNow or equivalent.
+ Deliver performance and SLA/KPI reporting to client stakeholders and internal governance.
+ Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for major incidents and systemic issues.
+ Propose solutions related to observability and monitoring solutions (e.g., Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk).
+ Manage workforce planning: shift coverage, on-call, task assignment, and performance monitoring.
+ Represent operations in project planning, readiness, and rollout phases (build-to-run).
+ Lead service improvement plans (SIPs) using Lean, Agile or DevOps principles.
+ Maintain strong relationships with vendor support partners (Oracle, IBM, VMware, hardware OEMs).
+ Ensure security posture is maintained in daily operations (patching, endpoint hardening, configuration compliance).

+ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
+ You have the ITIL v4 Foundation certificate.

Key ResponsibilitiesSupport Ticket Management:

Employee Onboarding and Offboarding

Hardware Procurement and Asset Management

Vendor Management:

We are looking for an experienced and proactive IT Operations Manager to join our Paris-based team.
This individual will play a critical role in maintaining and scaling internal IT operations by managing support tickets, streamlining onboarding/offboarding, handling hardware logistics, and building strong relationships with our vendors. You’ll work closely with teams across the company to deliver a smooth and efficient IT experience that enables productivity and growth.
This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical acumen, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for process improvement. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, embraces change, and is always looking for ways to make things better.
Key Responsibilities
Support Ticket Management:
- Manage the day-to-day IT support queue to ensure prompt and effective resolution of employee issues, routing, and escalation paths
- Continuously improve the ticketing process to reduce resolution times and improve service quality.
- Track, analyze, and report on ticket trends to identify recurring problems and develop preventive solutions.
- Ensure seamless IT onboarding/offboarding experiences by provisioning and deactivating access to tools such as Google Workspace, Okta, Zoom, and Jira.
- Maintain standardized checklists and collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure all onboarding tasks are completed.
- Procure, configure, and distribute IT hardware (laptops, monitors, accessories) for new and existing employees in the EMEA region and coordinate with providers in other regions.
- Maintain accurate hardware inventory and manage asset lifecycle documentation.
- Collaborate with local and global vendors for hardware procurement, repair, and software licensing needs.
- Negotiate vendor contracts and ensure service delivery meets SLA standards and company requirements.
- Serve as a go-to expert for resolving advanced technical issues and providing support to both technical and non-technical teams.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and assess their relevance for improving IT operations.
- Identify inefficiencies in IT workflows and lead initiatives for automation using AI-enhanced tools like chatbot assistants, self-healing systems, or predictive analytics.
- Drive adoption of AI-powered solutions across IT operations, including AI-driven support triaging, anomaly detection, and ticket deflection.
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies and assess their potential impact on internal IT systems and processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to pilot and implement smart technologies that improve employee experience and operational efficiency.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation for IT processes, ensuring transparency and compliance with industry standards.
- Serve as a regional leader for IT operations in Paris, ensuring alignment with global IT standards while addressing local needs.
- Mentor junior team members or contractors, fostering a culture of learning, accountability, and innovation.
- Represent IT in cross-functional meetings and projects, advocating for scalable, employee-first technology solutions.
- Translate strategic business goals into IT operational plans and scalable processes.
- Develop and maintain roadmaps for regional IT growth, improvements, and risk mitigation.
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT operations, service delivery, or related roles.
- Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with:
- Google Workspace
- Okta
- Jira or other ITSM systems
- Zoom
- Strong understanding of IT asset lifecycle management, ticketing systems, and user access provisioning.
- Demonstrated ability to manage IT processes across hybrid and distributed work environments.
- Experience with vendor negotiations and contract management.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational abilities with the capability to handle multiple initiatives and prioritize effectively.
- Fluency in English; French is a strong plus.
- Interest in innovation, with a track record of driving tech-enabled improvements.
- Knowledge of scripting, low-code platforms, or integration tools is a plus.

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of IT Service Management to lead our IT service capability across multiple high-profile programmes. This senior role requires someone who can set direction, establish service management practices, and oversee delivery that ensures reliable, secure and user-centred digital services. You will be accountable for developing and embedding IT service management strategies at scale, working with senior stakeholders across government and enterprise environments.
At This Level You Will
- Provide strategic leadership for IT service management across complex programmes.
- Set service management vision and ensure alignment with organisational and government digital strategies.
- Influence and engage with senior stakeholders to shape service delivery approaches.
- Oversee risk management, governance and compliance for IT operations and services.
- Build capability within teams, coaching and mentoring senior IT service managers.
- Leading the design, transition and operation of service management frameworks across multiple programmes.
- Defining service level agreements (SLAs), key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensuring that IT services meet user and business needs, supporting government departments and enterprise clients in mission-critical services.
- Embedding ITIL and other service management standards into delivery practices while balancing agility and governance.
- Managing relationships with suppliers, vendors and cross-functional delivery teams to assure service quality.
- Driving continual service improvement by using performance data and customer feedback.
- Championing service management as a discipline within Scrumconnect and across client engagements.
Service focus: Lead the design, implementation, and improvement of service management frameworks at organisational scale. Ensure services meet user needs, align with policies and achieve performance outcomes.
Ownership and initiative: Be accountable for end-to-end service delivery. Take ownership of risks, resolving issues and ensuring resilient operations.
Strategic thinking: Set long-term vision for service management capability, anticipating trends and aligning delivery with business and government priorities.
Change and transformation: Lead transformation of IT service practices, ensuring services adapt to changing organisational and user needs.
Service reporting and analytics: Define and oversee measurement frameworks to report on performance, risks and user satisfaction.
Stakeholder engagement: Build strong senior-level relationships, communicating complex service information with clarity and influence.
Leadership and mentoring: Coach and mentor senior managers, developing organisational capability in IT service management.
Where you’ll work
Your working time at Scrumconnect will be split between multiple locations, including from our HQ and hub locations, client site or home. Travel requirements vary in frequency and take into account requirements of your work, our clients and the team.

The program streamlines the examination process by offering a “one-stop shop” approach for examiners to leverage a myriad of tools and applications needed to help illustrate the totality of the criminal activity and actor(s) in question.
Position Description: IT Infrastructure Management Technical Lead - We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Infrastructure Management Technical Lead to oversee the planning, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise IT infrastructure. This individual will provide both hands-on technical leadership and strategic guidance to ensure our systems are robust, secure, scalable, and aligned with business needs. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a deep understanding of network, server, storage, and cloud technologies.
Clearance Requirement : Active Top Secret with eligibility to Special Compartmented Information (SCI)
• Support a hybrid environment of commercial, open source, and custom built software and wide range of standard and specialized hardware components.
• Perform systems, network, and software engineering services. Support includes administering, monitoring, and maintaining the health of the systems, compliance management (including accreditation support) harnessing historical and real-time data to provide insights for planning and design, administering stand-alone systems and networks, and managing incident response deployment hardware kits.
• Support the team that may be required to work flexible scheduling and extended hours. Team members may be required to work non-standard hours, weekends, or holidays to respond and resolve critical incidents.
· Lead IT Infrastructure Operations:
§ Manage and oversee day-to-day infrastructure operations including servers, storage, networking, virtualization, and cloud environments.
· Technical Leadership & Strategy:
§ Serve as the senior technical authority for infrastructure decisions, providing guidance to engineers and collaborating with IT leadership on long-term strategy.
· System Design & Implementation:
§ Design and implement scalable and secure infrastructure solutions in on-premises, cloud, or hybrid environments.
· Monitoring & Incident Management:
§ Ensure 24/7 infrastructure monitoring, performance optimization, and timely resolution of incidents or outages.

• Experience with ITIL practices and service management.
• Strong understanding of backup strategies and disaster recovery planning.
• Excellent troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
· Experience with DevSecOps culture and Agile development processes.

· Demonstrated ability to lead by example and inspire team growth.
· Some domestic or internal travel may be required.
Preferred Skills
