As a trusted and experienced Consultant, you will be responsible for a vast number of essential technical components such as analyzing the customer's current state, defining IT Strategy including key outcomes, designing conceptual solutions, planning and executing design and implementation work (with support from technical specialists), and accounting for time, cost, and quality targets. You will also develop IP and own specific assets, tools, and white papers articulating point of views in a specific domain, assemble and lead a team of consultants and architects, and facilitate and capture lessons learned from engagements to update methodologies and assets.

Required Skills and Experience
-Consulting experience with an IT professional service "big 4" firm or similar background focused on IT strategy enablement
-Knowledge of major cloud technologies including virtualization, containers, networking etc. on different cloud platforms
-Subject matter expertise in at least three domains (e.g., cloud computing, IT strategy, infrastructure, IT operations, applications, enterprise architecture, solution architecture, automation, data management, AI/ML, IoT and cloud governance models) to advise on industry-leading solutions
-Data modeling and analytical experience using common tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau)
-Issue-based analysis determined and structured data to collect, and produced structured conclusions, recommendations, and roadmaps
-Knowledge of IT Operating Model and Process Frameworks
-Awareness of broad competencies and depth in specific competency areas (IT strategy, enterprise architecture, solution architecture, process reengineering, automation)

Diagnostiquer les systèmes d’information des clients et formuler des recommandations sur leur transformation digitale.

Participer à la définition des architectures technologiques cibles (cloud, data, cybersécurité, SI métier…).

Contribuer à la stratégie IT, au design des solutions et à l’alignement entre les objectifs business et technologiques.

Piloter la mise en œuvre de projets technologiques complexes, en collaboration avec les équipes métiers et IT.

Apporter un regard critique sur les choix technologiques et garantir leur adéquation avec les standards du marché.

Accompagner le changement, en formant les équipes clientes et en facilitant la conduite de projets.

Participer activement aux activités internes de développement de l’expertise Platinion (veille, benchmarks, knowledge sharing…).

Profil recherché

Diplôme d’ingénieur (Bac+5) ou équivalent, idéalement complété par une formation en management ou stratégie.

3 à 7 ans d’expérience dans le conseil technologique, l’architecture IT ou la transformation digitale.

Maîtrise des enjeux technologiques clés : modernisation des SI, architecture cloud, cybersécurité, data engineering, DevOps…

Capacité à interagir avec des interlocuteurs de haut niveau (CIO, CTO, direction métier).

Fortes compétences analytiques, capacité à résoudre des problèmes complexes.

Excellent relationnel, esprit critique et goût du travail en équipe.

Maîtrise du français et de l’anglais à l’écrit comme à l’oral.

Atouts complémentaires

Expérience dans un cabinet de conseil de renom ou une grande entreprise internationale.

Connaissance approfondie de secteurs comme la banque, l’industrie, l’énergie ou la santé.

Certification technique ou méthodologique (AWS, TOGAF, Scrum, PMP…).

What You'll Do

As a Senior IT Consultant, you will work in an international environment, closely with our client’s leadership teams to understand their key challenges, define IT strategies, win buy-in for your recommendations and collaborate with BCG case team members to transform client potential into performance with high-impact assignments.

You will deploy customized IT strategies, digital platforms and architecture in order to leverage the digital potential of our customers with state-of-the-art tools such as cloud computing, AI, blockchain, microservices and containerization. You will be responsible for specific parts of the project and will evaluate and coach our clients’ technology teams, manage quality and risk while maintaining client expectations and escalations. You’ll develop ground-breaking projects by enabling our clients to effectively use agile methods and modern approaches in the context of strategic IT implementation.

You will work on a variety of technology topics, applying your technical consulting skills to strategic technology questions. You will also be supported by an extensive training curriculum, plus technology-specific training and mentoring to help build upon you technical skills. You will also help guide junior members of the team, help with project proposals, client care, building relationships with peers and identifying new business opportunities.

Finally as a Senior IT Consultant you will contribute to the Practice Area development and help to build the BCG brand as a key member of the case team.

What You'll Bring

• At least 6 years of experience in IT Strategy and consulting, professional software development or IT project management
• Prior IT consulting experience preferable
• A strategic thinker, entrepreneurial, able to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
• Outstanding analytical and conceptual skills, strong customer focus, and mental agility with a results orientation
• Experience in legacy environments and modern approaches to technology
• Track record of Agile consulting and advisory with experience in Digital and Agile transformations at scale
• Experience in IT organization and process development
• Experience in the organization of workshops at peer level and facilitating in client meetings
• Strong business acumen; can frame complex problems in appropriate business contexts
• Fluent in English and French
