Job Description

We're looking for a talented and motivated UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic team. You will be involved in the design and continuous improvement of our IoT supervision interfaces, working closely with the Delivery, Quality, and Customer Success teams.

UI/UX Design & Quality

  • Create user interfaces as part of IoT projects
  • Commit to delivering work that meets expectations and is on time, while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  • Design, implement, and evolve a UI/UX quality framework for the Delivery team.
  • Define and formalize guidelines and best practices for deliverables (white label, CSS, templates, etc.). Ensure deliverables comply with defined quality standards.
  • Design user flows, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
  • Maintain a constant watch on UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices.

With the support of the Tech Lead and under the responsibility of the Delivery Manager, you:

  • Participate in client meetings and propose UX improvements adapted to identified needs.
  • Create UI/UX interfaces on the client application.
  • Manage certain cross-functional projects, including defining objectives, planning, operational monitoring, and evaluating results.
  • Develop and maintain an image library to ensure visual consistency of deliverables.
  • Support the Customer Success team in managing public model libraries.

Desired Profile

  • Graduate from a specialized school (e.g., SRC/MiME).
  • Proficiency in design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, etc.) and front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JS).

Recherche utilisateur :

Conception UX/UI :
Créer des wireframes, des prototypes interactifs et des maquettes visuelles.
Collaborer avec l’équipe de développement pour mettre en œuvre les conceptions.
Assurer la cohérence de l’interface utilisateur à travers tous les produits numériques.

Evaluation et itérations :
Effectuer des tests d’utilisabilité pour recueillir des retours d’utilisateurs.

Documentation :
Créer et tenir à jour la documentation de conception, y compris les guides de style et les spécifications.

EXPERIENCE PROFESSIONNELLE ET COMPÉTENCES INTERPERSONNELLES

De formation Master spécialisé en design UX/UI domaine connexe, vous êtes à la recherche d’un contrat d’apprentissage sein d’un groupe dynamique. Vous avez une parfaite maitrise des outils de conception tels qu’Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, etc. Vous avez également un bon niveau d’anglais et êtes titulaire du permis B. Une première expérience de conception, de stage ou de projet est un plus.

Pour répondre à ces critères avec succès, vous devrez faire preuve de :

Désir de travailler dans le milieu de l’aviation au sein d’un groupe dynamique,

As a Process Design Engineer you play a crucial role in this by designing efficient and sustainable systems that contribute to our mission water.

Your goal

Due to the expansion of the team, we are looking for a new colleague! As a Senior Process Design Engineer , you will contribute to the development of environmentally friendly water solutions. You own the design and have the freedom and responsibility to design an efficient, sustainable and winning process. In this independent role, you will work in a close-knit team of 16 colleagues, to whom you can always fall back for support.

Your daily tasks include the preparation of technological designs for wastewater treatment and water reuse facilities mass balances, design notes for commercial projects. In addition, you adapt new technology into design tools. You regularly consult internally with the sales department and with our sister companies, both in the Netherlands and abroad, to realize the best water treatment solutions. You will also use your expertise to improve our technologies and design methods.

You find satisfaction in preparing creative solutions in the field of water treatment, and the recovery of raw materials such as biogas and fertilizer. Because you work with multi-disciplinary teams, deadlines and customers, you know how to structure your work and maintain an overview. Every week you will discuss with the team whether you can continue the project independently. For this position, independence, personal growth and support are key.

What will you be doing? We have listed it for you:

  • Performing calculations for the design of complex wastewater and organic waste stream treatment plants, including mass balances and estimates of operational costs (Opex).
  • Converting client wishes into winning designs.
  • Converting theoretical knowledge and research results into practical, technological designs such as PFDs (Pprocess Flow Diagrams) and P&IDs (Process and Instrumentation Diagrams).
  • Making technical and technological calculations to support the sales department, with the aim of preparing winning quotations.
  • Integrating new technological developments into design tools.
  • Making proposals regarding the optimization of existing technologies and/or the development of new sustainable technologies/concepts.
  • Carrying out technical and financial feasibility studies in the field of customer-specific applications.
  • Carrying out consultancy work and feasibility studies, also at customer sites.

What we're looking for

  • WO education in the technical field, preferably in the direction of chemical or bioprocess technology, water technology or health engineering.
  • At least 10 years of experience in a similar position within a similar industry.
  • You speak and write the English language at a professional level.
  • You live within a radius of 40 kilometers from Doetinchem or you are willing to relocate.

We are opening a CIFRE PhD position (funded doctoral research) in partnership with CentraleSupélec, Université Paris-Saclay , focused on designing the next generation of user interfaces for decision-making and simulation in mobility analytics.

The Research Project (confidential scope)

The selected candidate will contribute to the development of a completely new kind of integrated user interface. This interface will bridge advanced data visualization, interactive simulation, and decision support tools, offering a coherent and intuitive experience despite the complexity of underlying systems.

The project covers:

  • Designing a modular and adaptive UX/UI system
  • Developing intuitive ways to explore mobility data and scenarios
  • Exploring innovative mechanisms for simulation and interaction
  • Collaborating with engineers, researchers, and stakeholders from real-world mobility projects

While the core research subject is confidential, the interface will be at the heart of our Floware platform, integrating real-time urban data, multimodal simulation tools, and AI-based functionalities currently under development.

The candidate will also contribute to strategic R&D collaborations, including Horizon Europe projects and other major partnerships led by Floware.

The PhD thesis will be hosted at Floware (R&D office near Paris) and supervised jointly with CentraleSupélec, leading to the degree of Doctor of Paris-Saclay University .

A portion of the candidate’s time will be dedicated to design tasks contributing to Floware’s platform and communication materials.

Profile sought

We are looking for a designer with a strong academic and creative profile, ideally trained in:

  • Graphic or industrial design

Must-have:

  • Proven academic excellence (master’s degree or equivalent, strong transcript or awards)
  • At least 2 years of experience in a professional context
  • Strong portfolio showcasing visual and interface design work
  • Proficiency in Figma (Design, FigJam, Slides), Photoshop, Illustrator
