**Overview of the Department/Section**
The function forms part of Japanese Corporate Banking Department (JCBD) and is responsible for objective analysis and risk assessment in the division in respect of credit and market risk transactions in accordance with the bank's policies, rules and guidelines and as such facilitating a balanced credit decision process.
**Main Purpose of the Role**
Responsible for the execution of objective analysis in respect of credit granting and credit control and to support Department Heads (DH) Relationship Managers (RM) and with the credit risk management queries while ensuring and providing (internal) customer service in line with agreed procedures and service standards.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ To complete in-depth financial analysis (Japanese company profiles), credit and borrower rating applications and other credit related applications and documentation as allocated by DH.
+ To maintain awareness of developing market sector and business trends in EU/Europe and on a global basis.
+ To prepare necessary internal and/or external reports on the credit related business and to communicate about it with relevant credit departments or divisions
+ Participate in client meetings to gain a deeper understanding of business models and financial strategies.
+ The review and determine a customer credit ratings on a regular basis to aid overall portfolio analysis.
+ Timely preparation of credit applications prior to credit limit renewal dates (one month prior in principle). This is to facilitate a smooth credit decision making process and avoid unnecessary delays.
+ Collaborate with Relationship Managers to structure credit facilities that meet client needs while mitigating risk.
+ To seek to continuously improve operation practices/processes, with particular attention to the quality of credit risk analysis.
+ To execute any other task or instructions given by DH and/or RMs in respect of any tasks or work in the interest of the smooth handling of the credit business in the bank.
+ To ensure compliance with the Bank's rules, policies, procedures and guidelines together with all relevant regulatory and statutory requirements.
+ Conducting administrative operations in the field of credit transaction (communication with relative offices, monitor data reflection in the systems)
+ Monitoring credit portfolio development
+ A significant experience (at least 2 years) in a similar job.
**Education/Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
+ An excellent communication and interpersonal skills in French and English.

**The Team:**
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Credit and Risk Solutions (C&RS) Team, a focused and dynamic team with the opportunity to build on the last few years of significant growth and product development within the C&RS Business. The Credit Product Specialists' mandate is to help Sales Specialists monetize and leverage SPGMI's capabilities, by providing significant knowledge of credit capabilities including our quantitative credit risk models, climate-related credit risk models, credit assessment scorecards, as well as research and ratings from S&P Global Ratings, to serve our clients in managing complex credit risk management issues.
**The Impact:**
The C&RS business is a significant contributor to the overall growth of the Market Intelligence (MI) Division. The product suite is a critical piece of this growth story as the distribution channel for Ratings proprietary content and a provider of models and workflow tools to underpin the Credit Workflow for rated and unrated borrowers, counterparties, customers, and suppliers. The role of the Credit Product Specialist is critical to the success of the business. In an increasingly complex and competitive environment, credit products cannot be sold without the expertise of the Credit Product Specialist. These Specialists provide expertise and credibility to the sales and retention process. The role is therefore impactful and highly visible and, although heavily client-facing, is also beholden to many internal stakeholders.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Provides credit solutions expertise throughout the new business sales cycle
+ Supports complex client requests and provides solutions training
+ Establishes relationships with Sales Specialists and Product Managers to help in diagnosing, distilling, designing and delivering credit workflow solutions specifically to the European market
+ Aligns with Commercial and Product strategy for credit products and executes high level pre-sales and post-sales implementation plans
+ Serves as a credit product expert across functional groups

**What We're Looking For:**
+ Master's degree
+ 7+ years relevant industry experience, e.g. in credit and risk management, professional services, solution providers
+ Multilingual: English + German Or French Or a Nordic Language
+ Strong grasp of credit risk modeling techniques & credit risk management
+ In-depth understanding of complex client credit risk workflows, ideally across multiple segments (Corporates, Commercial and Investment Banking, Insurance, and Investment Management)

**The Team**
Hedge Fund Credit role within Global Markets Credit (GMC) responsible for managing the counterparty risk on a portfolio of EMEA-based hedge funds.
GMC(1st Line of Defence) sits within Enterprise Credit which delivers and manages the credit relationship for wholesale clients in accordance with Bank of America's growth strategy, risk appetite and underwriting standards. Enterprise Credit is responsible for analysing and underwriting debt financing solutions and derivative strategies for Global Banking & Markets. GMC isresponsible for underwriting Structured Financing Transactions, Non-Recourse Lending to SPVs, Specialty Finance, Hedge Funds and Regulated Funds (Real-Money Accounts), Central Counterparties (CCPs), and Municipal Banking and Markets.While we are an independent function, we work closely with product specialists, relationship managers and the risk function.
**Responsibilities**
+ Managing a portfolio of EMEA based hedge fund clients from on-boarding through to underwriting/credit approval and ongoing risk management.
+ Detailed written analysis of hedge fund clients demonstrating a good understanding of investment strategies, liquidity, leverage and volatility.
+ Perform qualitative and quantitative credit assessment of clients and their trading exposure including stress and sensitivity analysis.
+ Lead credit due diligence calls with hedge fund clients and prepare written due diligence assessments for risk management review.
+ Propose risk-based limits based on assigned internal counterparty rating.
+ Approval of daily trade flow including the calculation and application of Initial Margin
+ Liaise with Legal to initiate documentation for trading activity including the specification of credit terms as required.
+ Timely identification and escalation of limit overages, margin disputes and missed calls, monthly NAV trigger breaches, escalation threshold breaches and ad-hoc report management, escalating anycounterparties/issuesof concern as necessary.
+ Assist junior colleagues to ensure timely attention of limit breaches and escalations.
+ Assist junior team members in continued self-development including enhanced product knowledge and understanding of more complex clients/trades.
+ Prepare monthly management information in respect of European hedge fund exposures for senior risk committees and be able to speak to the data.
+ Promote strong engagement with Sales & Trading executives, Agreements & Documentation (A&D) partners, Collateral Management & Operations, Prime Brokerage Risk, Enterprise and Market Risk Management.
+ Assist in ad-hoc project work and regulatory deliverables as required.
**Requirements**
+ Prior experience in a hedge fund counterparty credit risk role.
+ Strong knowledge of hedge funds, their strategies and associated risks.
+ A good understanding of Global Markets and derivativeproducts/documentation.
+ Ability to manage significant deal flow often to tight deadlines in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
+ Confident self-starter with strong communication skills and an ability to negotiate effectively.

**Job Description**
Tradeweb is looking for a Credit and EM Salesperson to join the Paris office. Your experience to date will include working the Sales team to build and develop a client pipeline, establish new contacts with existing accounts and also develop relationships and identify opportunities with new and existing clients. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Risk & Valuation Services (RVS) Revenue organization, a focused and dynamic team with the opportunity to build on the last few years of significant growth and product development within the Business, and take those growth opportunities to market.

The complimentary nature of RVS products with other solutions across MI, means you will have opportunities to build relationships with stakeholders across the MI division and across S&P Global.
**Responsibilities and Impact:**
The RVS business is a significant contributor to the overall growth of the Market Intelligence (MI) Division. The varied product suite addresses client challenges in Credit Risk, Market Risk, Third Party Risk through its data, research, platforms and models, and services clients across Financial Institutions, Corporates and Governments. We are at the forefront of solving new challenges for clients as the market and regulatory landscape continues to change.
Within your territory you will have exposure and responsibility to interact with prospects and clients across commercial segments including Investment Managers, Investment Banks, Private Equity firms, Commercial Banks, Insurance Companies, demonstrating how the RVS suite can underpin their critical business workflows.
The RVS Sales Specialist are supported by a number of stakeholder teams including Product Specialists, Customer Success, Prospecting, Marketing and Client Services.
**Specific Responsibilities of a Sales Specialist will include:**
+ Build and execute on book of business/territory strategy and identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
+ Manage a sales territory.
+ Build strong connection with other Market Intelligence stakeholders in region (e.g. Prospecting, credit customer success, and credit client services).
+ Be an internal ambassador in region for RVS across Business Units and divisions, collaborating closely with the Account Managers and Desktop Sales Specialists covering Iberia.
+ Drive and track cross Business Unit, Cross Divisional and Synergy referrals and campaigns in region.
+ Build relationship with local regulatory bodies to understand regulatory landscape and how the RVS suite can meet regulatory needs in region.
+ Adopt structured and disciplined approach to tracking activity, pipeline accuracy and forecasting.
+ Embrace a customer focused, diagnostic selling approach.
+ Partner closely with other internal stakeholders, such as Product Management, Market Development, Legal and Client Support teams.
**What We're Looking For:**
The RVS Revenue organization values partnership, relationships and communication. It is crucial that you model these attributes. In addition, we are looking for:
+ A strong commercial mindset with prior experience selling to, speaking to, or interacting with Risk personas.
+ An understanding of fixed income / credit markets gained via experience at a financial institution, asset manager or financial data / technology firm.

CAD (Credit Analysis Department) is an integral part of GCIB EMEA (Global Corporate Investment Banking) by providing the fundamental credit analysis required to support the approval and execution of transactions as well as ensuring the bank's balance sheet is suitably protected by risk monitoring and proactive portfolio management.
**What To Expect**
The position, based in our Paris branch, is part of Credit Analysis Department (CAD). The work is mainly in English.
As part of a team of around 20 people, your main task will be to carry out fundamental analysis of major French groups and their subsidiaries in order to conclude on their credit quality. You will be responsible for establishing annual reviews and credit ratings, and developing your knowledge of corporate banking products:
+ Collection and processing of financial data, calculate financial ratios
+ Preparation of credit memos including bottom-up analysis of consolidated and company accounts, business and financial strategy analysis and sector review
+ Proposition of a bank-specific internal rating to decide on the credit risk
+ Monitoring of the various industries as well as the competitive and regulatory environment
+ Monitoring of significant events specific to companies (publication of results, stock market alerts, profit warnings etc.)
+ Exchanges with the risk teams in London, in the context of specific credit requests (credit lines, guarantees, market lines, etc.).
