We are looking for an intern to support our clients and prospects in the Asset Management and Hedge Fund industries. This internship is meant to last at least 6 months and lead to a position of Junior Business Consultant.

Your goal will be to improve client experience and to contribute to Riskdata’s ambitious growth strategy. To do so, you will be in charge of:

  • Answering client inquiries on Riskdata solutions capabilities and helping them to resolve their implementation issues.
  • Interacting with the sales, product management and research teams to find clever solutions to answer client risk management challenges.
  • Assisting the sales team for demonstration and training sessions to prospects and clients.

Remuneration variable according experience.

Knowledge/Experience/Skills:

  • A degree from a French Grande Ecole
  • Good quantitative skills in financial mathematics/statistics

PRINCIPALES RESPONSABILITES:

  • Construire, en collaboration avec les équipes produit, projet et commerciales, les propositions commercialespour les ventes complexes : réponses écrites, soutenances, Q/R,

  • Contribuer à identifier les critères de faisabilité et de rentabilité pour Altares ainsi des les pistes de ROI pour les prospects.

  • Contribuer à la stratégie commerciale pro-active auprès des prospects-clients (animations internes, campagnes…)

  • Représenter Altares sur des évènements externes (salons, webinar, podcast, interviews…)

· Veiller au maintien de son expertise métier


Savoir-faire:

  • Capacité à comprendre l’environnement économique, organisationnel et les enjeux du client pour les retranscrire au sein d’une offre de solution

  • Être familier avec la notion de risque en entreprise

  • Capacité d’adaptation, de compréhension et d’analyse des processus fonctionnels Métiers

Savoir-être

  • Formation supérieure (bac+4 minimum): Ecole de Commerce ou Ecole d’Ingénieur

  • Au minimum 2 ans d’expérience similaire et significative dans une société de services à l’international (data, poste avant-vente en édition de logiciel, cabinet de conseil…)

Continued growth means they are now looking to hire a TBM Business Consultant to offer independent advice to their diverse European clients, requiring you to draw on your own experience, best practice and lessons learned. You will be supported by an impressive team of TBM and FinOps specialists and will be given the space you need to update and expand your IT, Finance and Business skills to further your capabilities and your own career.

You will be need to be enthusiastic, self-motivated and highly customer-oriented, focussing resolutely on your client’s desired outcomes. You will work both individually and within a team, and will need to be effective working with multiple senior stakeholders, often navigating through complex and politically sensitive situations with tact and diplomacy, whilst still delivering the agreed output.

Activities and responsibilities:

To deliver the required insights you will first need to meet their customers to understand the current maturity of their IT financial management processes and systems, then capture their desired future state and uncover the anticipated challenges. You will then perform quantitative and observational data analyses to form your recommendations, which you will then present to the customer.

  • Analyse their customer’s IT-Finance environments, advising on improvement opportunities
  • Analyse data and design appropriate ITFM solutions
  • Produce and execute project plans for the implementation/optimisation of TBM services
  • Present to their customer’s senior management/leadership teams
  • Prepare and conduct customer workshops

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years relevant work experience (10 years preferred) in IT Financial Management, including defining IT Services along with a thorough knowledge of related processes for budgeting, costing, charging and IT reporting KPIs.
  • Experience with large and complex corporate environments, such as Financial Services, Government (central and local) or Professional/Business Services
  • A degree, higher professional education or professional certification in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or Computer Science (or similar/equivalent)
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, highly proficient using advanced Excel
  • Excellent English language skills, both oral and written, with additional languages an advantage (especially German, French or Spanish)
  • Prior consulting experience (internal or external) preferred, and/or experience as a Project Manager or line manager in a related IT Financial Management role eg cost transparency and management, budgeting, RoI, financial planning, billing, vendor management.
  • Strong client-facing presentation and communication skills, with outstanding interpersonal and influencing skills and a high level of EQ.
  • Preference will be given to individuals with existing experience of TBM solutions (Apptio, Serviceware, MagicOrange etc) and/or associated BI tools.

As our next International Business Consultant, you are the bridge between smart software and smarter travel. Sqills has completed several implementations with international customers, a selection of these include SNCF, BlaBlaBus, OUIGO, Eurostar, the Rail Delivery Group, and Renfe.

In 2019 Sqills opened a new office in Paris to serve our (future) customers in France and nearby regions. Business consultants and customer support engineers in the Paris office will work closely with the product owners and DevOps teams in Enschede in the Netherlands.

Our 220+ dedicated employees are the driving force behind our success. Now, we need your expertise to help Sqills scale S3 Passenger into the worldwide standard for public transport inventory, sales, and distribution system.

What are you going to do?

We are actively looking for an international business consultant with experience as a (product/implementation) consultant within complex IT projects (with a turnaround of 6–24 months). In your role as business consultant you guide the customer in configuring the business processes within our product, S3 Passenger. Knowledge of the transport industry is a plus and will be taken into consideration.

Oftentimes the system that S3 Passenger replaces is almost completely bespoke. As a consultant, you play an important role in understanding the client needs but also in helping the client understand and fully utilise the capabilities of the S3 Passenger software suite. The change management in those projects is critical and you will play an important role in it.

Customisation within a project of this scope is unavoidable. One such example is the connection between the accounting, inventory, CRM and revenue management systems. You are also responsible for the functional connectivity of these systems. You will also occasionally deal with other components, these may include online stores or other front-end applications.

Part of the job (giving workshops, discussing requirements etc.) takes place at the location of the customer, both inside and outside of France. You will also spend time at our headquarters in Enschede to work with the rest of the company.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who has demonstrative experience and success as a consultant. You offer advice related to crucial business insights for our customer, which means that they expect a strategic partner who has proven themselves. Your knowledge of the transport industry helps you to understand the business uses and is used to advise customers with less experience.

You challenge assumptions yet bring actionable options to the table. We would prefer a colleague who has a background as a Software Developer or Information Analyst. This experience allows you to go more in-depth into the subject matter.

What we are looking for.

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree;

  • Excellent communication skills in both French (C2 Level) and English.

  • Open to travel to customers worldwide.

  • International experience is a benefit;

  • You can read situations and communicate in a tactful manner;

  • Experience within an IT or Public transport environment is a benefit;

    About the Role

    As a Senior Business Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering impactful digital transformation projects for our clients. Leveraging your NetSuite expertise, you will lead complex implementations, oversee advanced configurations, and act as a trusted advisor. You will also mentor junior consultants and progressively develop your people management skills, with the opportunity to lead your own team in the future.

    Lead and execute end-to-end NetSuite implementation projects, from requirements gathering to go-live and post-implementation support.

    Oversee advanced NetSuite configurations and customizations to meet customer needs, acting as a Subject Matter Expert.

    Configure, customize, and optimize NetSuite modules according to client needs.

    Monitor, test, validate, and resolve advanced problems in NetSuite areas.

    Maintain and document high-level processes and complex customizations for external stakeholders.

    Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing best practices and recommendations.

    Support change management and user adoption initiatives.

    Manage overall relationships as Customer Success Manager for medium to large customers, handling tickets, organizing calls, and ensuring quality.

    Contribute to project planning, scoping, and estimation activities, collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure project success.

    Participate in sales and presales activities as an expert.

    Mentor and supervise business and tech analysts, providing guidance, feedback, and supporting their development through activities such as regular 1 : 1s, performance reviews, and career growth planning, while ensuring high standards in methodology and consulting practices.

    Act as the right hand of the Manager or Director, upholding company values and amplifying leadership messages.

    Contribute to internal projects fostering innovation and growth through entrepreneurial ideas and OKRs.

    Stay updated on NetSuite developments and actively share knowledge with the team.

    Minimum 3-5 years of experience in NetSuite consulting, implementation, or administration.

    Proven track record of successful NetSuite implementations and advanced configuration.

    Strong understanding of business processes (Finance, Accounting, Operations, etc.).

    Experience working in a consulting environment or with multiple clients.

    Demonstrated experience in mentoring, coaching, or supervising junior team members.

    Customer Success Management experience is a plus.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build strong client relationships.

    Analytical and problem-solving mindset, with attention to detail.

    Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative, international team.

    Entrepreneurial spirit and drive for continuous improvement.

    Fluent in English; knowledge of French or Dutch is a plus.

    Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe as required.
