We are looking for a Group Product Manager F/M to join our Group Merchandising team and the category based in Marly (59), France for a 6 months contract . We are seeking a motivated, dynamic and optimistic teammate, ready to take on new challenges!

Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Develop and execute category strategy, in collaboration with their Group Category Manager (GCM), aligned with the company's overall goals.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Communicate and sell the strategy to ensure alignment across the business.
- Define the customer needs for the category and select the appropriate brand architecture (OEM, private label, no name, etc).
- Drive strong interactions within the business and with subsidiaries (strong international exposure).
- Collaborate with other departments to support category initiatives.
Supplier Management and Sourcing in strong collaboration with the Category Buying team:
- Manage supplier relationships and sourcing processes.
- Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers.
- Ensure competitive pricing and market-leading offers.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance & compliance.
- Collaborate with Legal and purchasing teams on contracts and tenders.
Product Assortment Management:
- Manage product assortment selection, including new additions, continuations, and deletions.
- Ensure optimal stock and product availability through supplier partnerships and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with category specialists on product information and sustainability.
- Support the Group Sustainability policy and "90% by 2026" goal.
Marketing and Sales lead & support:
- Increase the share of Group products in all markets (commonality).
- Lead category meetings with all market’s representatives to implement the Lyreco strategy.
- Provide category knowledge and training to subsidiaries.
- Recommend selling price positioning and margin expectations.
Participation in projects:
- Lead or join transversal project activities within the Group Product & Services Team or other group/local functions
YOUR PROFILE:
- Business oriented Degree (min BAC + 3).
- Minimum 5 years in category management or development, or purchasing
- Able to work both independently and in highly collaborative environments
- Ability to work in an international and multi-cultural environment
- Positive, energetic and dynamic team member who share ideas and take initiatives
- Results and solutions oriented
- Toughness and persistence (negos)
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
