InterSystems is hiring an experienced Technical Specialist who is creative, motivated, and an energetic problem solver to join a group of experts working with a broad range of new and advanced technology.
As a member of a worldwide team, you will develop your technical, professional, and personal skills within an environment of teamwork and cooperation. You will help developers from our technology partners create and support their applications in real-world environments and have the opportunity to work with some of the world's leading organizations in healthcare, finance, telecommunications, and other industries.
Responsibilities
- Provide immediate response to customer inquiries in accordance with service standards.
- Provide technical support for application development using InterSystems technology stack.
- Advise and share best practices with partners regarding installation, configuration, development, and operation of InterSystems-based products.
- Assist in troubleshooting and performance analysis.
- Escalate unresolved issues according to current policies and procedures.
- Create training materials for technical courses such as system custom development.
- Produce technical documentation, including reference materials, installation instructions, user guides, knowledge base articles, and how-tos.
- Enhance customer satisfaction by soliciting feedback and escalating suggestions for product and service improvements.
- Improve response times by enhancing communication, analytical, and learning skills.
- Participate in onsite technical training and support meetings with customers/partners if required.
- Participate in the 24-hour on-call support roster.
- Participate in onsite implementations when needed.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of web-oriented languages including HTML and JavaScript.
- Experience with SQL, data analysis, and database methodologies.
- Knowledge of programming languages, ideally Java or C.
- Experience working as a Developer, Quality Engineer, or Solutions Architect.
- Ability to design and write technical documentation.
- Well-versed in Internet/Intranet concepts.
- Experience with InterSystems products (Caché, Ensemble) is highly desirable but not required.
- Ability to work effectively in a team, possibly across different locations and countries.
- BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related fields.
