Responsibilities- Run security audits, identifying security loopholes and opportunities to enhance the effectiveness of security strategies.

We are looking for Security Engineers to help improve our security standards. You’ll work mainly on technical topics (software, cloud and endpoint security) but may also work on organizational topics (risk assessments, compliance, project management) if necessary.
Team and collaborationThe Security team is cross-functional, partnering with Engineering (Platform, Data and Feature squads) to improve product security, as well as Internal IT, Operations, Customer Experience, Compliance, Legal, People & Office Management, Finance, and Growth teams.
Your Role as a Security Engineer- Shaping and enforcing security strategy for 300K+ users and 450+ employees, keeping Ageras at the forefront of cybersecurity.
- Strengthening product security by reviewing architecture, infrastructure, and code with Engineering and delivering guidance to ensure compliance with security standards and applicable regulations.
- Hunting vulnerabilities through penetration testing, bug bounty programs, and continuous security monitoring and auditing.
- Detecting and mitigating threats by implementing and improving security tools (SIEM, SOAR, EDR, SAST, DAST, SSPM, CNAPP, etc.).
- Investigating incidents and conducting forensics analysis to stay ahead of emerging risks.
- Automating security checks to ensure compliance with industry standards (CIS, NIST CSF).
- Driving security awareness by training employees and supporting internal IT security initiatives.
- 3+ years of experience in IT security, ideally in a regulated environment (fintech, banking, insurance, etc.).
- Knowledge of security best practices (architecture, systems, networks, applications, cloud services) and familiarity with security standards (OWASP, NIST CSF, SOC2, PCI DSS).
- Development experience, ideally in JavaScript/TypeScript and Python.
- Experience in a scale-up or tech-driven (cloud-native) company.
- Ability to propose innovative, secure solutions without compromising reliability and performance.
- Strong willingness to learn, share knowledge, and collaborate.
- Attention to detail and a security-first mindset.
- Comfortable working in English.

Job DescriptionWhat you’ll do and who you are
As part of our Operational Security team, you will play a key role in strengthening our defensive posture. You will work in an environment where security is seen as an enabler, not a hindrance. The team works across all systems, networks and internal infrastructures—from the public cloud to user workstations, whatever the OS.
Responsibilities- Qualifying and managing security incidents in coordination with the IT, Product, Infra and Dev teams (both for internal security and for the Leboncoin platform)
- Threat detection and implementation of threat hunting strategies
- Participation in the design of automatic incident response tools (SOAR-like)
- Carrying out forensic analyses (memory, disks, network traces) to understand operating modes and strengthen protection measures
- Helping to develop and feed our in-house Cyber Threat Intelligence platform
- Helping to define security incident response plans
- Active monitoring of new vulnerabilities, TTPs, IOCs and changes in the threat landscape
- Possibility of participating in offensive security campaigns (tests, audits, red teaming), if desired
- Availability for regular on-call duty (nights and weekends) depending on the needs of the department
- 2+ years' experience in IT security (defensive and/or offensive)
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language, ideally Python

Your role at C12 Quantum ElectronicsAs a Security (and Systems) Engineer, you will play a key role in protecting information systems while managing the internal IT infrastructure.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the Head of Software Development in evaluating and reporting on information system security (ISS) objectives
- Participating in compliance audits and responding to security questionnaires from clients and partners

The Team
The Security team is tasked with protecting Proton’s against various cyber-security threats. We ensure the confidentiality, availability and integrity of thousands of assets, necessary to the fulfillment of Proton’s privacy mission. Since 2018, the team has been providing services to other business units, including security monitoring, risk management, internal advisory, product security auditing, vulnerability management and identity & access management. Our mandate includes the protection of people, devices, applications, infrastructure, data and software within the company. We work with on-prem and open source tools.
What you will do :
- Collaborate with teams at Proton to develop and improve our security posture
- Provide technical support and guidance to the company on security-related topics
- Design, deploy and maintain Linux-based systems used by the security team (e.g. IAM, SIEM, .)
- Responsible for the operation of some critical IAM services (e.g. Midpoint, Keycloak, FreeIPA) that must run reliably 24 / 7
- Be proactive for identifying areas of improvement and implementing effective solutions
- Debug and resolve infrastructure issues efficiently, applying your problem-solving skills to maintain system stability and performance
- Automate routine tasks using configuration management tools and scripting languages (e.g. Puppet, Ansible, Terraform, Python, Bash)
- Monitor system performance, ensure system availability, and reliability
- Ensure any systems are equipped with proper logging, monitoring, alerting, and documentation
- Provide technical engineering support and guidance to the security team in all of its projects
- Assist the security team with monitoring network and systems activities for security breaches and respond to incidents
- Assist the security team in the development and enforcement of security policies and procedures.
What we are looking for :
- Motivated and detail-oriented professional with a passion for cybersecurity
- Proven security experience and understanding
- Proficient with Linux-based systems and services administration (e.g. Postgres, Redis, Elastic)
- Experience with infrastructure automation (e.g. Puppet, Ansible, Terraform)

- Knowledge in IAM tools, processes and workflows
