CONTEXT AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

In the context of the upcoming deployment of 5G SA, NetSF is hiring a senior RF engineer to reinforce our existing team.
We are looking for someone who will proactively lead cross-functional studies on key strategic topics such as spectrum strategy, high-level network design, long-term capacity planning, and technology sunset planning (2G/3G switch-off) in a multi-operator environment. You will take full ownership of these analyses, coordinating inputs from various teams and ensuring alignment with overall network evolution strategy. The missions will also include coverage studies with Automatic Cell Planning.
In parallel, you will contribute to continuous development of RF engineers by sharing expertise, consolidating best practices across the radio team.
THE IDEAL PROFILE:
You have a master’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering and significant experience in Radio Engineering (6+ years):
- Radio planning tool skills (Atoll, Planet, and/or Asset/Aircom) for conducting radio simulations, extensive frequency/SC/PCI/RSI planning, and utilizing advanced features such as Automated Cell Planning and Small Cell Planning.
- Experience in capacity planning
- Skills in development (Python, scripting, SQL, VBA, etc.) for automating tasks are also required.
- Knowledge of radio access networks, 4G/5G air interface, and radio link budget is a plus.
Naturally curious, you are interested in the telecommunications ecosystem and enjoy investigating complex technical topics. Your rigor, ability to work in a team, and quick adaptability will be key assets for successfully carrying out your tasks.
English is mandatory (written/spoken) to be able to lead meetings with a non-french speaking audience.
A technical interview will be conducted in English with a particular focus on radio design coverage (link budget and cellular planning).

The Role

- Supporting trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events.
- Developing requirements specification and product customisations.
- Analysing the technical requirements in pre-sales process (technical responses to RFQ/RFP/Tenders, technical pre-sales negotiation).
Additional Qualifications
- Relevant education in related discipline.
- 3-5 years skills and experience in RF Engineering.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be an EU Citizen or Permanent Resident of France.
- Willingness to undertake international travel.

-Define and organize integration of User Terminal subsystem, setup test bench (possibly in controlled manner)
-Define and roll out a test plan, post-processing and analysis of recorded results

As Quantum & RF Characterization Engineer and part of the ECCQ (Environment Characterization & Control for Qbit ) team, you will be in charge of selecting, specifying, operating and testing quantum chips & devices which will be used to characterized the quantum environment, and also support the characterization of hardware components.
The goal of the team being to deliver a full working HW solution to other teams focusing on testing qbits, by ensuring that their test environment is stable enough for their experiments.
Study and evaluate the potential areas of improvement around the quantum processor as well as the cryo environment and instrumentation, and propose projects to address these specific problematics.
Industrialize these projects to be part of our product deliveries by increasing the TRL (Technology Readiness Level).
Define your measurement plans; test and operate the quantum chips and other hardware components, with the help of instrumentation and cabling engineers.
Ensure continuous improvement through exchange with academic and industrial partners.
Your expertise in Quantum and RF systems will directly contribute to our culture of technical excellence and innovation, shaping the future of quantum computing. As part of the team you will help and support your colleagues focusing on characterization and instrumentation for the whole hardware installations.
Responsibilities:- Project development:
- Study the problematics linked to the quantum / cryo / room temperature environment and propose projects/POC to address them.
- This could be linked for example to: electromagnetic (FNM chip), infra red (HTC chip), vibration, (…) exposures;TWPAs behavior; control electronics front end / baseband / signal generation with FGPAs / ASICs.
- Organize and manage your project, align with other managers in the case of cross-team projects.
- Depending on the availability: technical management of technicians / interns / PhD students.
- Testing, Validation & industrialization:
- Propose and help to implement a testing environment for the projects you initiated or attributed to you.
- Elaborate a measurement plan
- Lead and perform the tests, characterization and measurement, with the help of instrumentation engineers and colleagues from Platform team

- Troubleshooting & Optimization:

- Documentation & Reporting:

- Master’s or PhD degree in Quantum Experimental Physics, EEE, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience of experimental work in quantum mechanics, preferably in the field of superconducting quantum circuits.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive and positive attitude.
- Experience of working with electrical test equipment (oscilloscope, VNA, spectrum analyzer, multimeter, etc.)
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including software engineers, physicists, and hardware suppliers
- Experience in software programming (Python)

- In this role you, will be the technical contact for our customersespeciallyin France and onsite activities for various TE Data Connectivity products. - Facilitate communication between TE, customers and new technology providers (incl. French OEMs & CAMs, start-ups, consortia, academia) on development efforts and trends for current and next-gen Data Connectivity products and evaluate upcoming architectures, applications, and customer processes to provide strategic input to Product Management for future Data Connectivity portfolio.
- Translate future market needs and trends into requirements for next-gen Data Connectivity products. Drive early engagement, facilitate design-in of Data products and ensure speed to market as the main technical interface towards the customer.
Your Ideal Background:
- Engineer with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar
- At least 7+ years of experience in in a technical function, business development or product management in the automotive environment.
- Knowledge of the various contact systems incl deep RF understanding, key elements of harness architecture and preferences of the individual OEM / HM preferred
- Very good technical understanding
- Ability to develop high-level business cases to support product concepts
- Proactive, dynamic team player who can independently and seamlessly take on internal, external, and cross-functional activities in the organization
- Effectively communicate (oral and written).
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong ability to collaborate across functions and regions
- Fluent French, must be located in France with ability to visit customers 2-3 timesper week

TE Connectivity's Business Development Team for Data Connectivity identifies, develops, and implements near-term and long-term business development strategies relating to the development of new products, technologies and services. The team identify potential markets and product applications and determine the feasibility of business and product development.
**Your Main Tasks:**
+ In this role you, will be the technical contact for our customers especially in France and onsite activities for various TE Data Connectivity products. This will include new product introduction, support in customer product release activities and building a network with key customer stakeholders. You will work closely with the customer and internal cross functional teams to offer superior support and provide innovative solutions.
+ You will drive identification and business relevant initiatives for new Automotive Data Connectivity applications by collaborating closely with TEs development engineering, account development team and sales.
+ Participate in the customer's engineering activities; communicate with the program Team; understand the customers system requirements and proactively respond to their needs. Document and issue customer meeting minutes, record action items and reply in a timely manner; capture meaningful customer feedback and communicate to cross functional internal teams.
+ Drive activities related to new technology and product concepts including bringing them to the TDP and/or NPD phase, with the long-term goal to transfer products and technologies into the Data Connectivity business pipeline.Accomany the (pre-)validation process and progress internal and external to ensure that the customer milestones are met.
