Job Description
Primary Purpose of the Role Thales is expanding its presence in India through the development of a Group Engineering Competence Centre (ECC), reinforcing its position as a leader in all its markets. Launching in early 2019 in Bengaluru, the ECC will expand Thales’ footprint in its core business areas and cement its long-standing relationship with India. Strong of more than 500 engineers as of today, ECC will grow to >1200 by 2029.

Digital Continuity & Front-End Development Engineer
About the Job & Key Responsibilities
Digital Continuity - Thales operates numerous test benches for product validation. As part of the digitalization initiative, these test benches are planned to be integrated with the MES (Manufacturing Execution System)
As part of the Test Bench Integration, you will be responsible for the development, configuration, and ongoing evolution of parsers. Detailed Responsibilities below:
Develop and maintain parsers to process test bench output data (e.g., CSV, XML, JSON, log files).
Integrate test benches with MES and other enterprise applications.
Analyze test bench data formats and define parsing rules and logic.
Collaborate with hardware, software, and manufacturing teams to ensure accurate data collection and flow.
Design robust, scalable, and reusable parser solutions that can adapt to evolving test requirements.
Monitor and troubleshoot parser performance in real-time environments.
Maintain documentation of parser logic, configuration, and deployment.
Support the digitalization roadmap by automating manual test data processes
Front-End Development – You are responsible to Develop front-end interfaces for data science applications (AI Agents, ML Models, Shopfloor overviews, Bench predictive maintenance solution, Webapps). Detailed Responsibilities below:
Design and implement responsive user interfaces to visualize data, status, and configuration settings.
Develop dashboards or tools using Streamlit, OpenWebUI, or modern web frameworks.
Build interactive front-end components with HTML, CSS, JavaScript (Angular, Vue, Node, Express) and .NET.
Integrate front-end components with backend services and APIs for seamless user experiences.
The position is based out of Bangalore.
Major Challenges
Work with IPE team of France in a different Time Zone.
Work with multiple teams in tandem.
Continuously Develop the required technical skills (skilling-up).
Work with Multi Stakeholders (Site Team/Methods Team/Maintenance Team)

Skills & Knowledge Required
Requirements
Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Python, C#, Java, or similar.
Good understanding of data formats (CSV, XML, JSON, plain text).
Experience with test benches, manufacturing systems, or MES is a strong advantage.
Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git) and CI/CD workflows is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Context
Criteo is launching the Learn, Explore, and Accelerate Program (LEAP), a continuous initiative to transform and sustain our self-service ad platforms as industry leaders in customer satisfaction.
The program focuses on improving key performance indicators - such as funnel conversion rates and Customer Satisfaction scores - by consistently exceeding client expectations through optimized user journeys.

As part of this initiative, Customer Experience Factory team, the R&D team operating the program – and part of the Platform Experience Enabler group – is looking for a passionate Lead Developer to join the journey and play a key role in bringing this ambitious vision to life.
What's the Platform Experience Enablers group? It’s composed of six agile and human-sized teams, provides reusable building blocks & expertise for UIs and APIs.
CX Factory Team is a full-stack team that transforms our self-service ad platforms to exceed client expectations.
